Giacchino's Endless Summer
Star Trek is just the beginning of Michael Giacchino’s recent busyness.
Interview by Saul Pincus

Okay, so, this is the third Michael Giacchino cover story we've had in the past two years...actually a little under two years. But what can we say? He’s on a roll. It's more than a roll, really. Take this summer, for example: Star Trek, Pixar’s Up, and Land of the Lost. Those will all be in theatres at the same time. Most composers would be ecstatic to have one of those in a summer.

We tracked Michael down during a break from a mixing session to get the lowdown on all he’s doing, starting this issue with Star Trek. Next issue, we'll get into Up and Land of the Lost.

Have a listen to Part 1 of Michael Giacchino’s Endless Summer!
