Glad I got 2 of these! I was lucky to meet Ernie Borgnine months before he passed away and got him to sign one of them. He thought the score was great himself.

This is the one I always think of when people say "You think you want it, but you'll never listen to it." I listen to it at least every couple of months. I can't believe I'm going to buy The Black Hole AGAIN.

It is actually a pretty bad movie, but the power of that score and those old school visual effects, well, I will buy that sucker. But where or where is the bluray for 20,000 Leagues? It's actually available now just like Black Hole- as a Disney Movie Club exclusive. Only way to get it is to join the club- or buy it off of eBay and pay a huge mark up. wow, it says new and exclusive, but yeah, that Amazon price, wow. I am gonna have to get it somehow, thanks

I have two DVDs of this, but I definitely feel I now need a Bluray as well. Although Disney's cockamamie club idea may nix that. The LP program of the score is now on Spotify. I had not noticed it before.

You have to join some movie club to buy this film? WTF?! Yes, and you have to live in the US or Canada to join. The rest of the world can't join!

Initial membership is 4 films (DVD or Blu) for $1. You then have to buy 5 more films at regular prices in the next two years. If you have any interest in Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars films, it's pretty much a no-brainer. Regular prices range from $19.99 - $29.99. And they have the usual sales, buy one get one at 50% off, etc. Pretty much all of those classic Disney film from the 50s - 80s are available on blu (20,000 LEAGUES, BLACK HOLE, RETURN TO OZ, WITCH MOUNTAIN, ROCKETEER, GOOFY MOVIE). Also available are OOP titles like JUNGLE BOOK and 101 DALMATIANS. It is actually a pretty bad movie, but the power of that score and those old school visual effects, well, I will buy that sucker.
