La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures proudly present the world premiere release of composer Mark Governor’s (MINDWARP) original motion picture score to the 1992 feature film shocker 1992, PET SEMATARY TWO, starring Edward Furlong, Anthony Edwards and Clancy Brown, and directed by Mary Lambert. Director Lambert returns to the ancient Native American cemetery of the original 1989 film, but purposefully spins this underrated sequel in a different, wildly over-the-top, fast-paced direction, crackling with gory, supernatural shocks and abundant dark humor. Composer Governor both matches and propels Lambert’s vision, crafting a striking and dynamic fusion of gothic rock and classic orchestra. The result is a rich musical landscape that churns up dark emotion and excitement as it spikes with scares and broils in brooding heartache. Along with the score, this presentation also showcases the film’s integral songs written by Governor – “Love Never Dies,” performed by Traci Lords and “Fading Away,” performed by Jan King and more. Produced by Mark Governor and Dan Goldwasser, remixed by Governor, and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this special limited edition CD release of 1000 units features exclusive, in-depth liner notes by writer Daniel Schweiger, featuring new interview comments by the director, composer and co-star Clancy Brown. Art design is by Dan Goldwasser.

You can tell this is a Goldwasser production just from the track list. I'll have to watch the movie again to hear what the score is like. Halloween's comin' up!

I’m guessing this was someone’s holy grail, “Rape/Twins/Fist” their most wanted cue.

It does seem strange that this release exists, really. Was there a lot of people asking for this? Or is it a business decision because the new Pet Semetery is out and King is hot right now?

It’s funny when these labels release a crappy score and they have to write up an enthusiastic description for it.

While I don't know if this is a 'crappy score' or not, as I've never heard it or seen the film, I'm sure there will be people out there who have wanted it released for years and will be very happy.
On the subject of positive write-ups, I love those old Italian CD film score releases' liner notes, in their broken English, that pan the film and mention how terrible the score is/can be.
I'm mainly remembering THE GAMBLE by Pino Donaggio (a wonderful soundtrack) that stomps on the film at every turn and rags on the Donaggio music too!

Dr. Cox: "Hats off there Barbie, that was one potent combination of verbal diarrhea and stunned silence."

If you guys mean to try and convince us this movie’s “underrated”, then best get head checked!

I would not call the movie underrated but it is so over the top that it is fun. Clancy Brown certainly had a great time doing it and it shows.

The score should not be dismissed. If you don’t now it try listening to the samples or some YouTube clips before assuming it is a bad score. https://youtu.be/TV8yX3B2dpM

I noticed the score when watching the movie, it is IMO very good with some emotional passages for the loss of the mother and the friendship between the two boys. I never imagined it would be released some day due to the movie never attaining much attention but I’m very happy it is being finally released and it was a day one purchase for me.

At least the kitten massacre scene went mercifully unscored.

I saw the film once twenty five years ago, the only thing I remember is Clancy Brown hamming it up.

I just bought the DVD so I'm looking forward to revisiting it.

Because telling prospective buyers with money that can keep the lights on at these labels so they can - eventually - release something you might like that "this music on our new release blows" is a sound business model.

I'm no fan of this movie, but a little respect, huh?

I just watched the film and I found it much more entertaining than the original. Edward Furlong is as weak as he was in T2, but Clancy Brown does indeed carry the film for everyone else. Great score too.

Looking forward to getting the CD.
