Can anybody tell me what's there by Hugo Friedhofer that's left to release?
I can think of the following:
"Edge Of Doom" ('50)
"Homicidal" ('60)
"The Secret Invasion" ('64)
"The Over The Hill Gang" ('69)
The five episodes from "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" (two of which he collaborated with Alexander Courage)
Anybody out there can think of any others?

His score for Joan of Arc (one of my biggest grails) is in desperate need of a re-recording (being independently produced, the prospect of original tapes existing seems rather slim).

I love Friedhofer but I never bothered doing a thread on him like this because it seems too many of his scores are just fully or partially lost.  It's less question of what remains unreleased and more a question of what has surviving tapes that are unreleased (which may be very very little at this point).
I too would love it if we got a complete re-recording of Joan of Arc some day. Here's the Gothic Prelude in a modern performance...pretty frickin' awesome and makes one salivate for the full score:

Has White Feather been released yet?
Sadly no, and we've been told it's because the tapes are lost, as with a number of other Fox scores of his.

Having Intrada's compilation discs on Friedhofer's soundtracks from Paramount pictures (and loving them), I wonder still if there're any further surviving material such as SEALED VERDICT (1948) or JUST FOR YOU ('52) or even a (more) complete edition possible for ACE IN THE HOLE.

Having Intrada's compilation discs on Friedhofer's soundtracks from Paramount pictures (and loving them), I wonder still if there're any further surviving material such as SEALED VERDICT (1948) or JUST FOR YOU ('52) or even a (more) complete edition possible for ACE IN THE HOLE.
Not sure about the first two scores, but I’m pretty sure that the Ace in the Hole material on the Double Indemnity album was all they could find for that score, so the chances of a more complete Ace in the Hole are slim to none.

Does Von Richtofen and Brown count? A suite was released on an album in the 70s, I believe, but I don't think it ever made the jump to CD.
That suite (along with one from PRIVATE PARTS) was released on a Delos LP in 1975. Facet re-issued the LP on CD in 1987.

That’s correct. We restored all the Ace in the Hole score cues from the Paramount music library, including the film version of the “Main Title” from the composite mix.

Here is a great truth that no one really wants to say
Hugo Friedhofer is a tough sell in the current market.
While fans of Golden Age scores want him, that group is getting smaller everyday, also quite a few of the films he did (Beyond things like THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES) are mostly forgotten and not known to many under the age of 40....
This isn't too say the music isn't wonderful, but in the current market it's just not going to move anywhere the amount of units to make it worth doing unless it's almost costs nothing to do.
Yeah, I know I'm being Debbie Downer here, but that just the way it is.
It's vastly easier to sell something by Steiner,Waxman,Herrmann,etc then it is to sell Friedhofer.
A sad, but all too true state of affairs.
