I haven't heard OUR PLANET yet, Thor, but had high hopes for it as those nature/science docs usually get some really good scores.
I haven't heard his AMERICAN ASSASSIN score yet either.
GRAVITY was VERY effective in the film and I did enjoy elements of it away from the film too.
He is an interesting voice, to be sure.
Don't believe a word Thor says on this one, Kev! Our Planet is a great (orchestral!) score.

Yes, OUR PLANET is probably the BEST score Steven Price has composed ever.
At first I didn't pay attention to Steven Price, precisely because of his static and forgettable work on GRAVITY, which made me think he's just another one in that wallpaper sound design crowd.
I was very pleasantly surprised by OUR PLANET, which made me change my mind about this composer and showed his abilities to do elegant, dramatic and soaring music, something I thought he's not capable of.
Crossing my fingers that this particular project will be more in the OUR PLANET level of quality.

I would agree with the people in this one... Our Planet is great work by Steven Price (i'm one of those people who thinks Gravity is an overrated score). If you can, listen Wonder Park, wonderful score.

OUR PLANET is fantastic! I'm excited to hear Price's new work, which is getting positive mentions in advance reviews as a great "old fashioned" score.

Like you, I think he's very hit/miss. I absolutely adore his score for GRAVITY (one of my top 10 favs that year), and think ATTACK THE BLOCK was intriguing. But then he did something like OUR PLANET; which is basically a disaster: http://celluloidtunes.no/our-planet-steven-price/
