Has anyone made love while listening to the track “Ballad of the Whale” from “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home” and was it pleasurable?

Asking for a friend.

I press skip when that comes on.

Is it safe to assume the GILF in this scenario is retired?

In answer to the question no I personally haven't but I always found this cue quite charming in the context of the actual score.

Something about it evokes a pleasurable feeling whilst listening. Perhaps it's just the recording but I would never press the skip button on this track. MHO of course.

Just a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

This just gave me a fantastic idea! I'll start playing this when I want to clear everyone out of my apartment at the end of a get together. I'm sure everyone will vacate before the halfway point.

I had to look this up. I have zero recollection of this being on the album. What a strange song for a Star Trek score. I thought the OP was referring to "Whale Fugue", which left me bewildered.

As I recall, the track wasn't even used in the film.

But more on topic: I don't want any score playing while doing it. As a score fan, I clearly want to focus on the score, and this particular adult activity should not have my attention split.

Exactly- two distinct and competing pleasures.

Can we go back to hating each other?

Can we have a day off from that?

I press skip when that comes on.

That's a mistake. (Although I skip Market Street more often than not. So I shouldn't throw stones.)

I'm the opposite -- I never skip Market Street.

In a related topic....I've read that a whale's penis can get as long as 96 inches.

I'll take your word for it. I don't go reading about the penis lengths of other creatures like you do. ;-)

If you don’t make love to this track then what track? Klendathu Drop? Square One (End credits from The ‘Burbs). Don’t be shy, we’re all friends here. And do you conclude the lovemaking at the end of the track?
