Yes. The last edition included some nice extra tracks, but I would love to have a definitive version with those gloomy end credits as heard in the film.
If someone released the original untouched cues, complete, in chronological order sans dialogue and without tinkering by Howarth, I’d be all over it.
FYI if you go to alanhowarth.com, you'll find a new 2 CD set of ESCAPE FROM NY there that has been remastered and contains both the original album version and the later version as well newly remastered.
If you don't like the dialog they can be programmed out since they are separate tracks, for those who can figure out how to do that.
Also as I recall the end title on the film is just the main title repeated.

I did see that Alan has a new 2 Disc but assumed there was no remastering.
And personally I've always made a copy of the Main Titles and stuck it at the end as an End Titles... but I don't think the score in the film is exactly that?
Double checking... it's on Prime right now.
As I recall, James Nelson at DIGITAL OUTLAND remastered the whole thing for him.
it's also a factory produced 2-CD set, not a CD-R.

It's not that simple. Some of the dialogue/sfx bleed over onto the music. You may cut out the dialogue tracks, but you're still starting the next track where the previous left off. It's sounds jarring.
If you could be a bit more specific that would be helpful
I know that when we did the earlier SILVA version I think there was ONE TRACK that overlapped slightly, the rest were on their own, as a recall Alan's version fixed that little issue that is available from his site.

Thanks, Ford. I’ll check that out. It’s true that the dialogue tracks are separate, but the segues sometimes give them an abrupt beginning or end.
The main titles are almost the same, but the end titles continue on into a gloomy sustain that trail off much differently for roughly 20-30 seconds. It may seem trivial, but lots of us are still craving it.
Perhaps they were the same recorded track but just mixed differently by the music editor at the time? It makes sense since it seems they recorded the “Snake Shake” as the intended end titles but then changed their minds and went with the main theme reprise.
