"THAT'S the CHICAGO way!"
"This is intolerable!"
"Missile drills..."
"I think they were on their way to a funeral."

He ended his career on his own terms and with a far sight more grace than many.

RIP, Sir.

The term "legend" has seldom been more appropriate....

Yes, he was a legend. He was the consummate Bond. I enjoyed him in other non-Bond movies, especially The Untouchables. Glad he won the Oscar for that movie.

When I was growing up Roger Moore was my Bond. He’s what I thought Bond should be. Didn’t really appreciate Sean Connery. As I’ve gotten older, Sean Connery‘s become my favorite Bond. As is my custom, I will either play or purchase music related to or composed by the deceased. I’m now playing pieces from You Only Live Twice album, Bond’s Funeral from The James Bond Collection by City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra ,and 007 by John Barry from Best of Bond - James Bond 50 years. Why You Only Live Twice? John Barry, this was my first Bond movie, and a ripping good score.

My only Sean Connery story is that when I was growing up there was a man in my building that reminded me of Sean Connery. I told him that and called him James Bond. He smiled and it must have made his day.

Very sad news.
RIP Sir Sean Connery

You know whenever I lurk in the No Time To Die thread (in this forum) and see that top post with that gif of Connery at a tennis match I always think to myself "it's great to see Connery still alive and well". Now whenever I see that gif frown.

May he RIP and my condolences to his family and friends.
