Happy New Year! I know it's way early to reveal the first title of 2021, but we figured we'd do this to kick the year off quickly! Let's leave 2020 behind and here's to a great new year!
Burwell doesn't have nearly the vocal fanbase he deserves, so I'm SUPER excited to see this.
The only other Burwell catalog titles I can think of that have come out were both tied to other things. His rejected score for Kiss the Girls came out alongside Mark Isham's expanded one, and his score for the feature film of Buffy came out as a bonus with the TV series SE release.

Amazing. Just re-watched the original and II-III (seen in cinema) and then saw IV for the first time. Re III, I remember being wowed at the whole Virgin Mary/ shower angle which I thought was ingenious and still do. That being said, there were a few too many over-the-top moments in the picture for this viewer. However, Mr. Perkins' directorial debut was superb and I really like the long tracking shot following Norman in search of the motel room. As for the score, for me it was serviceable, at best, but I would enjoy hearing about the score as a listening experience on its own.
For someone who hasn't seen the film or heard any music ( though I usually like Burwell) is the music in that scream of love video representative of the score. I hope not.
