The first 500 copies sold will be autographed by John Scott, correct? big grin

Did James Nelson travel to U.K. to access the master tapes ... or did Mr. Scott mail them to Digital Outland?

Where is Bob Bengan?

John gave me a copy of this a long time ago, Mr. Nelson did an outstanding job on this one IMHO. John was very happy with the end result

No autographs on this one, John in England and do that would be difficult to do at this time.

The score itself is outstanding and a wonderful gem in his catalog.

All I get when trying to order is the message "There was a problem with our checkout" and to try later.

Doesn't work for me. Tried three more times. No good.
Went to Intrada and have now ordered it there instead, with no problem.

That's odd, because you are the ONLY PERSON who has had any issue.......

I ordered one myself and had no problem....

Could be either your browser or just plain old Operator error...

Enjoy the CD.

I did my small part to help the sales; the Fish Man suite had a comment asking about a release of the score, so I replied back about this release.

Wow. Just ordered this. What an unexpected treat.

It's a score I wanted to release for decades....

If you get a chance to play the samples you'll understand why.

Yes, I was impressed from the first few seconds, and I'm not a Scott fan. Vintage silver age or thereabouts.

Yes, reminds me of the sound of other 70's scores of note - the quieter suspense passages of Murder on the Orient Express, Geoffrey Burgon's chamber scores for the Doctor Who classic episodes The Seeds of Doom and Terror of the Zygons.

Just wonderful stuff! and completely unknown to me, thanks you all!

I watched this very creepy, striking film a couple years ago and Scott did a really great job scoring it. This is a very exciting release.

I had to stop buying things, even food, but I'm very tempted by this. I watched the film last night and found it to be truly mesmerizing. John Scott played a big part in maintaining the unsettling mood of the film. I love that small ensemble sound, and how he makes things creepy by using such things as plucked strings (as opposed to an orchestral crescendo - I'm grateful he didn't have the budget for that).

Nice also to see that the tracks are quite long. That should give it a bit of a flow. In the film itself some of the tracks sound truncated. I suspect that this was just post-production music editing, so it'll be good to hear the "longer takes". Were the tracks edited together for this release to make them longer, or are they from the original longer tracks originally recorded as such by John Scott?

Whatever, it's either this or some bread and fruit.
