Just "Booked It"! My very first Soundtrack LP gets the FSM treatment...thanks Lukas, Jon and FSM for bringing this to us - a true gift, indeed!!!...:-)
Wow! Staccato jump cuts: me reaching for my credit card, followed by accelerated helicopter zoom toward me turning to camera, with my hair perfectly coiffed. Thanks, FSM!
The LP of Hawaii Five-0 was either the first or second soundtrack I ever bought as a kid. I played the thing to death. Somewhere way back I lost it and it is one of the only soundtracks I've bought in my life that I no longer have since I've tried to keep all of mine. In recent years I've been hoping to be able to replace it on CD and now I finally have the chance thanks to LK and the FSM wish granters...AND, at a very reasonable price!
"The Floater" is the cue I remember the most after the iconic theme. I've got lots of Hawaiian shirts I can choose from when listening!
I am all over this. Hopefully, one day, we will get a box set with the scores to some of the series best episodes!! Wishful thinking, but then again, we just got Sparatcus, so who knows?

Yep, I'm also in line to purchase the TV scores when they are released...:-)
Just had a listen to Mcgarrett's Theme. Those faraway grooves had the effect of causing instant relaxation. Amazing.
The track, The Floater - this reminds me of one of the episodes, where I think Mcgarrett was nabbed by the bad guy and put into a weird frogman type outfit and left immobilised in an isolation pool so he could be reprogrammed as a type of human robot via sensory deprivation. I saw this episode as a youngster and even now, many years later, the nightmarish implications from that storyline (and no, I can't remember every detail) are so dominant that it is the Five O episode that immediately comes to mind when thinking of the series.
