I've been hoping for this title for a very, very long time! This is one of my all-time favorite Barry scores (which is really saying something). The music is one of the main elements (along with the cinematography) that give the film its titular “heat” even though it was shot in some of Florida's coldest weather. I can't wait.
So… the previous CD and LP were a Dragonslayer situation…? Oh, never mind… just glad to have this!
Well. We had so many fantastic releases this year - many of them was in our Holy Grail lists. I bought some of them and said 'pass' for another. Some of them surprised me, but there were no Holy Grails from my list! (favorite - yes, but not Grail ) And now - #1 from my list is available! I admire FSM - Lukas & Neil you're Gods, really!
And now some technical questions We all heard this story about 'lost tapes'. How can you found them? How long it's take to make this set possible? Any pleasant or unpleasant memories about working this fantastic set?
