haha I know what would be simple lukas ...just release the entire score from every episode that will take care of it and YOU KNOW it will be bought! What you might be forgetting is that Lukas did that already...at least for one composer. Every single Ron Jones score for Star Trek is now released in complete form. And you know what? Sales were disappointing. Lukas can speak for himself but I suspect it maybe was one of the things that made him think about stopping the FSM label. At the very least we know that he did no big box sets after the Ron Jones Project. I love it and cherish it, and I think most of Jones's scores stand up very well in complete form. But the simple fact is that based on huge sales for the Trek feature scores Lukas decided to license the Ron Jones box for 5000 copies and I think he said they hadn't sold much more than 1000 (thankfully they didn't manufacture everything in advance). If this was the case for Ron Jones, the most interesting composer of Trek TV music until perhaps some Enterprise entries, then I don't think there's really a market for all of the many discs it would take to release the complete Trek TV scores. We're talking probably a hundred discs or more for every Trek episode score. C'mon. Hi ...would you too buy a whole trek set of unreleased score? And here's the other thing...in answer to your question. Even if I had the money to afford all of that, I wouldn't buy it. Because here's a little secret which many Trek fans will tell you (and sadly it hurt the Ron Jones sales, unfairly): the majority of modern Star Trek TV music SUCKS. It's sonic wallpaper, there not to be noticed but because if there was no music THAT would be more noticeable. And it's not the fault of the very talented composers. McCarthy and Chattaway's early work before that Ron Moore aesthetic was strictly enforced is often very good, and a select few even deserve full releases. But not all of it, surely. It's a miracle that they started being allowed more leeway for emotion in the later spinoffs. There are definitely incomplete scores that I would like to have complete versions for (Tin Man, for example), but honestly, some of the scores released in complete or near-complete form I don't think warranted it (Haven from TNG Vol. 1 was very underwhelming considering how it was talked up as more emotional...I feel having just a few tracks from it would have put it in a better light, listening wise). Just my opinion but many people share it (and most of them have an even harsher opinion). I think LLL and Lukas are doing the right thing to ask for people's wants and prioritize those over complete score releases, with the odd exception (Arsenal of Freedom was good!) Yavar

Hello, thank you for this fantastic possibility. I have quite a big wish list I only included VOYAGER episodes since there is so much material which is so far unreleased. There is so much great music that there could be also a Volume 2 besides the upcoming Volume 1 and the 50th Anniversary Collection. ATTENTION: Since I don’t have access to the American Netflix, I used the German versions on Amazon Instant Video. Therefore the time codes might differ a bit. The time code difference should not be bigger than 10 – 15 seconds, though. BOLD cues or scores have a higher priority than others, in my opinion. Here we go As often requested, the big four should be widely represented on the sets, if not in their complete form. 3#26 / 4#01 - SCORPION PT. 1 & 2 (Cha.) 5#15 / 5#16 - DARK FRONTIER PT. 1 & 2 (Bell) 5#26 / 6#01 - EQUINOX PT. 1 & 2 (Cha.) 7#25 / 7#26 - ENDGAME PT. 1 & 2 (Cha.) Besides, this is my wish list VOY 3#01 - BASICS PT. 2 (McC.) ~ 00:00 - First Teaser music ~ 05:52 - Kazon ship attacks Paris’ shuttle ~ 26:13 - „Come and get us“ (Torres) ~ 28:02 - Kazon search the Voyager/Paris contacts the doctor/Suder arrives in sickbay ~ 34:05 - Final Act (The 11 minute cue that plays during the final act. Lots of great stuff in this one) VOY 3#03 - THE CHUTE (Cha.) ~ 00:00 - Teaser ~ 10:52 - Akritiri Attack ~ 27:36 - Harry climbes up the pipe VOY 3#17 - UNITY (Bell) ~ 04:27 - Chakotay and Kaplan are attacked by the aliens ~ 10:01 - Borg cube appears on screen (contains a similar Borg synth to the one Goldsmith used in FC) ~ 16:28 - Chakotay discovers that Riley and the others were Borg ~ 21:24 - The doctor accidentally awakens the Borg ~ 28:54 - Connection between Chakotay and Riley ~ 41:41 - Borg reactivated VOY 3#22 - REAL LIFE (McC.) The entire score would be great VOY 4#08 - YEAR OF HELL PT. 1 (McC) ~ 14:31 - Day 32 (until 17:43) VOY 4#09 - YEAR OF HELL PT. 2 (McC) ~ 22:45 - Chakotay’s Quarters ~ 31:05 - Chakotay and Annorax ~ 35:06 - Live long and Prosper (until ~ 37:40) ~ 37:41 - Finale (until ~ 43:23) VOY 4#11 - CONCERNING FLIGHT (McC.) ~ 37:40 - Finale / Leonardo and Caterina are flying (until 42:34) ~ 44:22 - Leonardo’s Theme VOY 4#14 - MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE A suite combining the short orchestral sequences at the beginning, especially the one at ~ 06:18. Could be combined with ~ 00:00, ~ 01:38, ~ 03:30 and ~ 04:18. ~ 07:35 - The doctor arrives on the Prometheus ~ 10:43 - multi vector assault mode ~ 40:22 - The battle VOY 4#18 - THE KILLING GAME PT. 1 (Bell) ~ 16:50 - Torres (Brigitte) to the SS headquarters (until ~ 17:55, harp solo!) ~ 20:58 - Attack on Neelix and Seven / The chase (until ~ 22:04) ~ 43:41 - „Looks like a bunker“ / To be continued VOY 4#19 - THE KILLING GAME PT. 2 (Bell) ~ 01:26 - Teaser ~ 38:01 - The hunt /Klingons / holo-emitter overload (until ~ 44:57) VOY 4#25 - ONE (Cha.) ~ 12:48 - Seven’s Daily Routine VOY 4#26 - HOPE & FEAR (McC.) ~ 39:05 - Seven and Janeway break out of the brig/Voyager attacks the dauntless/Arturis surrounded by the Borg VOY 5#02 - DRONE (McC.) ~ 10:03 - Borg detected ~ 22:10 - One assimilates the data node (GREAT emotional cue!!) ~ 43:06 - One’s death (Once again, GREAT emotional cue) VOY 5#06 - TIMELESS (McC.) ~ 05:03 - Frozen bridge ~ 07:18 - Bottle smash (very similar to ST Generations) ~ 11:23 - Quantum slipstream simulation ~ 23:35 - Chakotay & Tessa talk on bridge ~ 28:22 - Preparation for quantum slipstream drive ~ 35:48 - Emergency landing VOY 5#23 - 11:59 (Bell) ~ 41:10 - It’s 11:59 / Shannon’s Theme (until ~ 42:41) VOY 5#24 - RELATIVITY (McC.) ~ 00:00 - Voyager in dry dock / Patterson’s quiz ~ 01:33 - Janeway enters the bridge (Goldsmith’s and Courage’s themes!) ~ 07:56 - Janeway enters Engineering (nice oboe solo) ~ 21:20 - Chroniton flux of .003 / Evacuating ~ 28:39 - Voyager attacked by the kazon VOY 6#12 - BLINK OF AN EYE (Bai.) no specific musical requests, but it would be great to have material from this episode released on any of the collections. VOY 6#17 - SPIRIT FOLK (Cha.) ~ 08:41 - Irish tune / Harry dates a cow (until ~ 11:06) ~ 27:39 - Harry & Tome are chased (until ~ 28:48) ~ 41:32 - Life continues in Fair Haven (until ~ 42:59) VOY 6#25 - THE HAUNTING OF DECK 12 (Cha.) ~ 02:14 - Shutdown sequence VOY 6#26 - UNIMATRIX ZERO PT. 1 (McC.) no specific musical requests, but it would be great to have material from this episode released on any of the collections. VOY 7#01 - UNIMATRIX ZERO PT. 2 (McC.) no specific musical requests, but it would be great to have material from this episode released on any of the collections. VOY 7#11 - SHATTERED (Cha.) ~ 24:42 - Lonzak arrives ~ 27:11 - Chaotica ~ 31:09 - Tuvok dies VOY 7#15 - THE VOID (Cha.) ~ 38:27 - Battle preparations montage / Escape from the void VOY 7#20 - AUTHOR, AUTHOR (Cha.) NOT Ron Moore, RICK BERMAN! Please, PLEASE never confuse the two....ugh. WHOA WHOA WHOA! What have I done? Major apologies to Ron Moore, surely responsible for the best things about modern Star Trek. I absolutely meant Rick Berman. Brain fart, I guess. Yavar P.S. to Justin: weren't there also request threads of some kind for DS9 and Enterprise or am I remembering incorrectly?

Yavar I pretty much agree with all the above. Thanks to TNG Vol.2 there is not that much material left and hopefully most of it can be covered in the anniversary collection. I would say there are only a hand full of episodes remaining that warrant a full release, thankfully we already got Conspiracy, Hide & Q, The Arsenal of Freedom and most of Tin Man and Hollow Pursuit covered at this point. Adding to that I would complete The Survivors, The Hunted, Tin Man (as you mentioned), maybe Contagion and The Most Toys, and then Chattaway's Frame of Mind which in between of lots of wallpaper scores, is so wonderfully different. Other than that I think a few outtakes from episodes as proposed in this blog, should finalize TNG. Having said that, I would pay good money to get all remaining TNG season 1, 2 and 3 scores. If all cues on the new set were season 5 - 7, I would likely pass.

Hey, I don't get why everyone is so gaga over a Spock-less TWOK. :-) Different people have different prefs- what's redundant to you may be gold to the next guy. "Come, come, Mr. Scott. Young minds, fresh ideas. Be tolerant."

Lukas, when is this due by? I have some episodes just need time to collect proper timing. No rush! We are collating the suggestions but will have time to add more. Lukas Well, I was able to get my stuff together nonetheless... Again, thank you for allowing us to participate in building this set... I don't have Netflix, but I have Amazon Prime. I assume the timing in the episodes is the same... Star Trek: The Next Generation: "Firstborn" 36.36-38.03 (scene where Duras sisters reveal future pregnancy to Work stopping future Alexander from killing young Alexander). It's motif that appears in later TNG that I don't think has ever really been captured well on disc. Additionally, end credits from "Firstborn" because it has the extended type ending as opposed to the quick chop ending. It's difficult to explain, but it has never appeared on CD. "All Good Things..." This was mentioned prior. Volume 1 from LLL and Best of Start Trek Volume 2 capture lots of good stuff, but as a previous poster said the whole episode should be represented along with the trailer. It's so good. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: A lot has been mentioned, but I think DS9 had the coolest trailer music. Way of the Warrior is amazing. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzzucJgYWcg&list=PL48BA8BF295B52009&index=2 as is Paradise Lost: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLJ3viOVUDQ&index=12&list=PL48BA8BF295B52009 Star Trek: Enterprise: The Storm Front trailer has already been mentioned and I would add that is is amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ms7bnbaBUw&list=PL5zwq76EsRxqOD8HlQlqPWDOphyk0FN0a "Cold Station 12" My favorite unreleased cue. If I had to pick one only it would be from this episode, 34:14-41:50 by Jay Chattaway. It's so good! "These are the Voyages..." Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGniYXrkrl8&list=PL5zwq76EsRxqOD8HlQlqPWDOphyk0FN0a&index=21 Enterprise actually had a lot of good trailer music leading up to the conclusion of the series that I cannot find. "Archer's theme" Finally, anything not released with Archer's theme would be amazing. Lukas, you have your work cut out for you. Good luck and thanks for asking us for feedback.
