I just want "Max" Season 4, Ep 18. The music when Mulder's wrist watch stops running, a UFO intercepts the aircraft and a bright light engulfs the plane. That music has stuck in my mind all these years! If I get just this one track, I'll be really happy. But I'm sure I'll like whatever ends up on it.
I am almost done with season 2 now. Just watched Død Kalm (as a Norwegian, that was very weird to watch! lol!). There was a cue towards the end I really loved. When Scully is writing her diary(?) and they eventually is found.
I didn't know you are Norwegian. That explains so much!

The Vol 4 was scheduled for the summer of 2019. And it's still at a standstill ... I do not say anything at all, but I think he'll never see the light of day ...
It's not because I am not posting that I am not following FSM nearly daily in hopes of an announcement! I understand LLL doesn't want to comment, they hear enough complaints from fans of such or such as it is. But I really hope this project has not been cancelled altogether.
I must have linked to this already, but I want to point out that the 5.1 audio of the BluRays has given new possibilities for bootlegs. The DVDs had 2.0 sound there's only so much you could do to mute the dialogue or edit scenes where there is no dialogue. The Snow Trax podcast used to rip music pieces from the DVDs, they nearly covered all of the first 2 seasons and there was some great stuff already. Then they started over with BR rips and there's nearly 30 min of music per episode! I mean listen to Deep Throat and Conduit! https://www.talkshoe.com/show/snow-trax-xfiles Sadly they only did the first 4 episodes. I'm no audio engineering expert, maybe someone will continue this project.
I want to believe that this is still coming. Season 11 took a decent amount of time to arrive and I think it's probably just the delays in approvals, especially with the Fox / Disney merger that's holding this up. Mark Snow supposedly mentioned it was coming in the summer so I think we just need to be patient.

I have actually toyed around with this for X-files as some of my favorites has (still) not been released. But what I noticed is that its not as isolated mixed as some other shows. A lot of scenes have dialogue (like very low dialogue) still in the mix. But I have only checked out a few scenes though, so there might not been all episodes like that the Buffy remaster is very well mixed. Absolutely no dialogue (just some veeeery few and brief moments). Sounds awesome. At least if that is all we will ever get.
But of course nothing will sound as good as on CD and i am really hoping for an X-files Vol 4 soon! Just got into this score this year

Indeed an update would be so so welcome. My plan is to get 4/5 Black Friday releases but I’ll grab them all if La La Land can throw in a fresh x-files update.
They seem to be very quiet about these Fox titles now. Maybe they are not allowed to speak about it? Or maybe they dont know yet what will happen to the projects they started before Disney came and fucked things up? Would be a huge shame though if this whole merger thing ruins such "simple" things as old score releases.
There was a Fox title in this black friday batch though. But maybe that project was already done before the take over?
