So any thoughts on how the Kamen disc sounds? Desperately awaiting info until I get paid and can order it! I think it sounds great, Spook. I'm also really enjoying the actual music too. Eerie, mysterious and textured. Plus, it is unmistakably Kamen. I'll be reviewing it and playing it in a video this weekend. Great booklet too! I'd always wanted to hear more of his music for Lifeforce and I wasn't disappointed. Well worth it, I reckon. Cheers Chris Kilt-Man

Here's my in-depth review of Intrada's release of Michael Kamen's score for Lifeforce. Listen out for the weird connection to 80s pop hairdo, Nik Kershaw, that I discovered. Best grab a beer, or three, coz it's a long exploration of an unappreciated yet incredibly interesting and imaginative score. https://youtu.be/SPuBbeTvfe0 Cheers Chris Kilt-Man

Chris McEneany, you should seriously prevent your wife from harming your dog Roxy! Don't take what I'm telling you here lightly. It is a great torture for dogs to be shampooed. The perfume odours are terrible - and who knows what kind of chemical crap this dog salon uses. You should know that the nose is one of the most important sensory organs of dogs. But the perfuming harms them quite considerably. It is due to the stupidity of dog owners that this is regularly done to their pets. So stop it already.

The second quarter of the film, with Caine's investigation and the return of Carlsen, borders on pulp excellence. The rest of the movie, not so much. Hey, at least it wasn't one of those Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark knockoffs that were so common in the mid-80s.
