I noticed that the Tadlow website has completely disabled purchase options for a long time.

I wonder if these albums will ever be reissued or will they remain unavailable forever?

If Tadlow has ceased operations, maybe is it possible that another record company will be interested and purchase these recordings from Tadlow in order to managing them, reissue them etc?

I think Silva reissued few Tadlow albums in the past if I remember correctly?

I thinking if something like this is possible?
This is certainly Mr. Fitzpatrick's decision, but he has not been active here on the forum for a long time?

I have no idea about the current ownership of any of these recordings, but since Tadlow no longer exists as a company, they can't sell the rights. Whoever owns them now is the one to talk to. I don't know who that would be, the Crown?
Would be a shame if these wonderful recordings would not be re-issued some day.

When a company is compulsory wound-up, its assets become the property of the crown.

I don't know what that means in practical terms, except that I imagine purchasing these assets will involve a lot of bureaucracy.

Cheers

I'm very sorry to read about this. I was fortunate to be present in Prague during the KING OF KINGS sessions. The experience taught me a lot about how these recordings are produced. Best wishes to him if he's reading this thread.

Here's a reminder of all the Tadlow releases by date of release. Some of the catalogue numbers are missing their titles. One or two may be Tadlow Classics releases of which I have identified some, but not all. At the end I've listed all the Prometheus CDs recorded by Tadlow. Prometheus is not, of course, affected by the closure of Tadlow Music Ltd and in theory their CDs should continue to be available but, I assume, subject to whether there is sufficient demand to keep them in stock.

No. The Silva Screen version has Silva Screen's own catalogue number SILCD1299.

Ah. My mistake. I misread your listing.

Was there ever an explanation for the 3 missing title? Btw tadlow021 is "Epic Hollywood: The Music of Miklos Rozsa"

Thank you. I've added 21. Don't know how I could have forgotten that one considering I attended the concert! 10 and 11 were perhaps allocated but never happened. 28 is possibly a classics vocal album. There were several around that time period but I haven't been able to find that one.

In this catalog, Mad Max - Beyond Thunderdome has the listing TADLOW010, whereas the actual CD has TADLOW09.

Maybe there was a mix-up and the number was left unassigned in the end?

The Tadlow Music catalogue ordering page gives the correct number for MAD MAX...as TADLOW009, same as the CD. The newsletter, in advance of release, was probably an early intention for the catalogue numbers.

The Silvamasters.com has all of the tadlow tracks, so if anyone is permitted to release them in some way, it's probably them
