Something weird is going on with my package... It arrived Oslo (where I live) on March 15th, so I thought I might receive it soon. I check the status today and suddenly its in Istanbul! Why do they send it there?? lol! Oh dear. The good old Postal Service..

It's a secret plot. Once it was in Norway, Thor got it and told them to send a dummy package to Istanbul.

Istanbul seems like a sage and trustworthy place. Just make sure your package isn't ticking when you get it.

Interesting that you imply you have a copy when right above this you post that you got a shipping confirmation from MBR. I suspect you heard this off an illegal share site and tried to deflect when I called you out on it. James Nowhere did I write that I have. My buddy received an autographed copy directly from La-La earlier, and has a much more expensive Hi-Fi set-up in home. So I know about the sound quality of this release, because I had the opportunity to hear it on expensive equipment. I will pass over in silence the statement that someone can judge sound quality by illegal mp3s from the internet. I'm not deaf to do so. If you have any idea about Hi-Fi equipment, and I do, then further discussion only has a point...

No. If someone can't hear the difference between a compressed mp3 file and an original CD-Audio (not CD-R) listened to on a good Hi-Fi equipment, then we have nothing to discuss, because it's a waste of my time.

No. If someone can't hear the difference between a compressed mp3 file and an original CD-Audio (not CD-R) listened to on a good Hi-Fi equipment, then we have nothing to discuss, because it's a waste of my time. Well there's four things wrong. First you're assuming that any pirate copy is in Mp3 and not lossless, which is laughable. You're also assuming that if it IS Mp3 the quality is bad, which hasn't really been true for 20 years for those who know how to encode properly. The difference between a 320 or V0 Mp3 and lossless is pretty small and while it's potentially possible to tell, the sound quality as a whole isn't degraded and the difference is very small. Thirdly you seem to imply that digital files can't be listened to on Hi-Fi equipment, which is also laughable. And as a bonus, you seem to not even consider the fact that a CDR is going to sound exactly the same as a CD since the data is, after all, 100% the same.

There is no glitch on the master or the cds. Could you people please stop judging our legally licensed and professionally produced product by listening to what some scumbag put up ILLEGALLY on youtube? Thank you MV

This score is a wonder. And this release enables a type of critical listen previously unavailable. For the first time in YEARS, I burned a CD. A complete and chronological compilation of all the tracks on both discs. Merging the songs in lets the score breath and most importantly let me appreciate exactly how Harold was operating. As far as I can recall, incorporating instrumental versions of hit songs in to a score is not how this is ever been done. But Harold, seemingly without ego, uses Danger Zone, Mighty Wings and others wherever it seems he thinks he couldn’t have done any better. Like John Barry using a Bond song as the basis for the themes in the score, Harold does this with multiple song written by other people. Some might say this is lazy but to me it screams that Faltermeyer had little ego and only wanted to do what would work best in the film.
