Someone mentioned “The Mummy” was better than “Air Force One” but I’m not so sure... I watched The Mummy again since it first came out to hear the score and man, the movie is really bad and cheesy/racist but the music is also really stereotypical with its orchestration and overuse of harmonic minor/Phrygian dominant scale. I don’t know if I could listen to it over and over again, at the same time it fits the tone of the film which is early-20th century “exotic” mysticism/hollywood. I will say the action music is pretty good, but I still think Air Force One is a more balanced score.
But Air Force One and The Mummy: two scores that really elevate the absurd films they’re in.
Which Mummy? The first two Brendan Fraser films are highly entertaining. (other than the awful CGI.) The scores are pretty decent too. As it was said before Jerry's average is better than (pick any current composers) best.

Discussed already in the proper thread. Not. Gonna. Repeat.
