Up for discussion , are there any more cues of unreleased music that has not been listed above from the DR NO score ??

If you read upthread, there is a Dr. No CD containing additional music that was sourced directly from the film.

I guess this is as good a thread as any to ask which of the Bond expansions were remixed from the multi-track masters, and which used the existing stereo album masters for the album presentations.

For the most comprehensive answer, best bet is to check out FSM Volume 8, number 4 and Volume 8, number 5 in the downloadable back issues above for a full rundown - for Thunderball especially, multiple sources were used, so if you want a detailed breakdown of what source was used for what track, the two articles in those issues will fill you in. From memory, everything from 4-track, to 3-track, to 2-track, to the respective album masters (even the 30th Anniversary CD set, and a mono LP, in the case of Thunderball) were used, depending upon what obstacles arose.

Does anybody know why not all of the expanded Bond soundtracks are on Spotify?

Thunderball, OHMSS & DAF are there. But not YOLT or LALD.

"Bond Back in Action" includes a short cue called "The Zagreb Exrpress," which was not on the album. It goes into "Gypsy Camp." By itself, it clocks in at around 57 seconds.

I added it to the album, but I had to goose the levels to get it to match those of the tracks from "From Russia with Love."

I end my custom CD with Roland Shaw's fantastic arrangement of the main theme. It works perfectly as a closer.

I just hope that the people who are able to do constantly check the inventory. I wouldn't be surprised if the first three turn up after all. It wouldn't be the first time that an inconspicuous album master contains previously unissued material or that somebody kept a dub tape previously uknown of.

The cue sheet lists 40 cues, but some of these are as short as one second (Tania singing "pom-pom" on the train) and include a couple of Monty Norman cues from DR. NO that were tracked in. Strangely, the cue sheet doesn't list titles for the cues, but rather short descriptions of where the cues begin and end, such as "FROM: James Bond Trade Mark TO: Cut to stalking."

Was this title created for that album?

Haven’t watched it in a few years, so I’m quite certainly forgetting a couple:

- Gunbarrel
- The film version of the main titles (different instrumentation)
- The film version of Leila Dances (entirely different)
- Krilencu’s death
- Some short cues containing the Orient Express travel motif
- Klebb’s death

The recording of the 007 theme that plays during the gypsy camp fight appears to be different from the album track titled 007. In the film, the tempo is faster and there is a short piccolo/violin phrase that is absent from the album track. As far as I can tell, the film version of the 007 theme in that gypsy camp scene does not correspond to the 007 Takes the Lektor album track either.

There is another cue when Kronsteen reveals his foolproof plan. It is similar to Spectre Island.
Bond and Kerim spy with the periscope
Bond enters the Russian consulate and checks the time on the Russian clock
Grant kills spy in car
Klebb congratulates Grant

So, for "From Russia With Love," I have compiled the following:

Gunbarrel
The film version of the main titles (different instrumentation)
Cue following main titles, during the chess match in Venice.
007 - Different in film
Kronsteen reveals his foolproof plan - similar to Spectre Island.
Bond and Kerim spy with the periscope
Bond enters the Russian consulate and checks the time on the Russian clock
Grant kills spy in car
Klebb congratulates Grant
The film version of Leila Dances (entirely different)
Krilencu’s death
Some short cues containing the Orient Express travel motif - These may include the track I mentioned called "Zagreb Express" that is on "Bond Back in Action."
Klebb’s death

007 - Different in film
007 Takes the Lektor - Different in film

To clarify, I meant to say 007 is different in the film, but not 007 Takes the Lektor.

There is also an unreleased cue that plays right after the titles, during the chess match in Venice.
