lets not forget this one, one of the best italian western music !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auHdD35juCE

I'm a bit confused, as this film re-uses music from earlier scores. The main theme is actually released, as Sequenza 10 from Con Lui Cavalca La Morte (1967).

Yes, this music is in many westerns but some tracks can be in one movie and another will add or remove some music. Its like a Lalo Gori library...

They Might Be Giants or Raise the Titanic would be nice if masters could be found for RtT.

Amen to that.

Yes. More Lalo Schifrin would be wonderful. Charlie Varrick in particular.

I still say BULLITT was one of the most important CDs FSM ever put out.

Cheers

Hell in the pacific isnt much of a score. Charley Varrick and St Ives and Love n Bullets are the three scandalously overlooked killers.

I would gladly welcome any unreleased John Williams score, but besides those, I think my most wanted unreleased title would be The Six Million Dollar Man.

Many. Charles Fox's Short Circuit 2 for instance.
Any Silvestri, Newman, D., Poledouris... The usual suspects.

As always, Twice Upon a Time (Atkinson/Melville), which I suspect will be harder to find than the actual Grail.

  • But with Burwell hating his experience on it, him also not really being a seller for the labels, and the film itself being mostly forgotten I have don't have much hope it'll ever see the light of day.

With how sloppily Ghostbusters II was released on CD, perhaps it doesn't take much effort to locate whatever stems are available and just slap it onto digital.

Well, it's nice to know the Six Million Dollar Man is getting a bit of love on this thread. Let's keep hoping.

This might have been already mentioned, but I'd like to hear Shore's score for King Kong which was rejected.

I agree. I would buy them in a New York minute.

What a gorgeous cover for THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER that has been posted. Now if only there is a record label to record the score. Hope springs eternal.

According to Jon Burlingame, most of the master tapes for “The F.B.I.” are lost.

That's too bad. I'm enjoying the DVDs at the moment and since some of QM shows have been released it is ashamed that The FBI scores no longer exist separately.

Hopefully TODAY'S FBI survived - one of Elmer Bernstein's most brawny themes ever.
