I got my cd on Saturday the 12th! I wonder why there is two tracks titled the same title: First Aid? Couldn't they come up with something different for each tracks for titles? I wonder if one of the last FSM cds will be Gremlins 2? I even wonder if FSM has extra copies of the booklets to Outland, Poltergeist, Twilight Zone and Gremlins so i don't have to carefully take out mine and read them with nervousness of ruining them by handling them?
Maybe they used Goldsmith's origina cuel titles
If you want to know a little secret then listen here: Goldsmith also named two different cues with the same name for THE MUMMY.
The title was THE SARCHOPAGUS (or something like that regarding Spelling - I'll edit it later)
I'll second that! I ordered mine (along with Days Of Heaven) on the 10th and it turned up in my letterbox in Australia on the 17th. Thanks FSM and SAE.
Nice - the labels have so far been very fair to share the new editions of the Goldsmith-Dante collaboration among each other: FSM (Gremlins/TZ), Intrada (Explorers/Amazing Stories), Lalaland (Innerspace), The 'burbs (Varese Club). Wonder who & what will be next?
I still cant believe this its here. We are truly in the Golden Age phase of collecting! What a triumph of a release. Stellar sound production all around.
The cello and synth plays Mistuning deliberately - there are also several places where the orchestra plays mis-notes
Much like in the style of THE BURBS
The A. Courage arrangment of GOD REST YE is a beauty. In minor.
I have ripped this into my com in the following arrangement (with original FSM tracktime in this list)

• 1. Gremlins... Mega Madness - performed by Michael Sembello (3:52) • 2. Make It Shine - performed by Quarterflash (4:11) • 3. Out Out - performed by Peter Gabriel (7:02) • 4. The Gift (4:58) • 5. Gizmo (4:14) • 6. Mrs. Deagle (2:54) • 7. The Gremlin Rag (4:13)

Still can't wait to get this sumbitch, hopefully later this week.
All I can say 'bout this sumbitch is, it's bitchin'!
Cool buddy! I do have the GREMLINS 2 soundtrack which I quite enjoy, what do you think of the GREMLINS 2 soundtrack? I've been getting quite a few Goldsmith cds lately.

It arrived today, what a wonderful release this is. So well done. Good sound, nice cover, fascinating liner notes. Perfect.
To the music: in its entirety it´s mad, suspenseful, stupid, daft, a load of bollocks. In short: utterly marvelous, fantastic and gorgeous! I didn´t know that there was some fierce action writing in there (Track 23)! How wonderful this release is...
A small observation. I feel that little bit of sound compression may have been used on the 2nd disc. I noticed this on the opening 'Gizmo' track 5. (Late for Work) The brass was not as jarring as the old Lp/ cd. Just my thoughts. It doesn't affect the listening experience or anything like that its an excellent sounding 2cd set.
Im just curious and if I'm right I'm left a wee bit impressed by my own ears ))))
