Okay, here are two episodes of DS9 with good music. The times listed are from the Season 4 DVD.
Accession - McCarthy
"Kira's Resignation" 30:40 - 31:21
Hard Time - McCarthy
"Unfit for Duty" 29:45 - 34:16 (act-out)
"The Real Story" 34:19 - 36:45
"Be Well" 42:30 - 43:20
"Daddy's Home" 43:53 - 44:36
Yes - thank you. To me, "Hard Time" may actually be McCarthy's finest hour in the "Trek" franchise, even moreso than "Conspiracy" or "Generations" or "What You Leave Behind." It's truly a powerhouse score, with a wonderful emotional undercurrent, and I'm glad to see someone put in a request for it. I second it, and if there are any other substantial cues from that score, I'll put in a request for those, but your list seems to cover the highlights, from what I recall. (I haven't had the heart or time to revisit the episode and try to cherry-pick the really great cues, so I appreciate your work here. Thanks!)

Yeah, I guess I actually wouldn't want it to play while I'm listening to a CD, but then again I have little musical interest in most of these source cue oddities people seem to want. But I do think they're fun, especially this one.

You're welcome. It's certainly one of McCarthy's more emotional scores from DS9, and features that wonderful string figure for O'Brien's decent. I was instantly captivated by it, as I'm sure he was by the episode itself.
