I have a technical question re Cover Art for these in iTunes (which I still use on a PC).
I cannot attach the artwork images to the albums - in fact, can't add any artwork at all to these files. I've tried a bunch of different ways and can't figure out what's wrong.
It's the first time in a history of thousands of albums that I've had this problem. Could it be something about how iTunes converted the downloaded files?
If you imported them as straight WAVS then nothing can be added. You'd probably need iTunes to convert them to Apple Lossless to add any artwork (I've certainly had this issue with some WAV downloads).
That's the only thing I can think of; other than that, there's nothing different about these particular files to any other audio format.

You should be OK with that. The only reason I'm aware of it is that I wasted a good hr (some time ago) trying to add artwork to a WAV...had zero idea it wouldn't allow it!

The point is I don't convert to lossless in iTunes. I convert at 256kbps.

Bumping this thread to share the exciting news that Leigh Phillips has scheduled the recording session for Volume 5 in this Jerry Goldsmith at The General Electric Theater series (another score that only seems to survive in written form: "Last Dance"). And because there were extra funds left over from the first two campaigns, he's actually NOT doing a Kickstarter campaign for this one! Instead, as a thank you to *all* previous backers (at any level) from the first two campaigns, he is going to do a high quality livestream of the two hour recording session for FREE on Monday, August 21 at 9am EST. (This was only available as a perk for £100 backers previously.)

Afterwards he'll make the lossless CD quality digital EP (with PDF liner notes) available on his website for just £4 as usual. I've heard the mockups for this score, and I think it ties with "The Bar Mitzvah of Major Orlovsky" as my favorite of the Goldsmith GE Theater scores I've heard. I can't WAIT to hear it performed by a real orchestra, and for the rest of the world to hear this lovely Goldsmith score for the first time in over six decades...

I think first the hope is to get Vol. 6 & 7 recorded with a final campaign later this year. Then a future CD edition will be as packed as possible!

any plans for a cd with vol 1-5 ?
The CD for volumes 1-4 was locked in after we completed recording vol.4
There are 2 scores left to record, which means we could effectively have all of Goldsmith’s (available) contributions to this series on a single disc. I’m hoping the final campaign will be successful as it would be a very sad situation to fall short by 2 scores (one of which is from, I believe, another missing episode)

Just confirming that as a backer to the previous volumes we have to buy volume 5 ?
Seems to be so.
Just curious why just those three sites and not all the normal ones.
Those were simply the platforms I chose for distribution (mainly because I’m
familiar with them)
