Now that Ghostbusters 2, Willow and Conan the Destroyer have been knocked off of my personal list, in alphabetical order... Alice in Wonderland (1985 Irwin Allen made-for-TV movie) - Morton Stevens Batman (original TV Show box set) - Nelson Riddle and Bill May Caddyshack - Johnny Mandel Cpt. EO - James Horner (only about 10-15 minutes worth, but I want it so badly!!! Classic Horner) Columbo - Mostly Dick DeBenedictis, Bernardo Segall, Patrick Williams, Billy Goldenberg, Gil Mellé, with one episode each scored by Oliver Nelson, Jeff Alexander, Robert Prince and Jonathan Tunick as well (Full box set of all of the original 1970s episodes' scores. I'd welcome the '90s episodes too if they are included but they are not nearly as important to me). Death Wish 3 - Michael Moran and Jimmy Page Demolition Man - Elliot Goldenthal Any Disney Park music! Emergency! - Billy May & Nelson Riddle (Fried, Matz and Talbert did 5 episodes total as well for the tv movies) Ernest Goes to Camp - Shane Keister Ernest Saves Christmas - Mark Snow Ernest Goes to Jail, Ernest Rides Again, Ernest Scared Stupid, Ernest Goes to School - Bruce Arnston (yes, I know. Guilty pleasures!!!!) Fletch - Harold Faltermeyer Ghoulies II - Fuzzbee Morse & Paul Sabu (again, another guilty pleasure of mine) GI Joe: A Real American Hero - Johnny Douglas & Robert J. Walsh (another vol. 2 release with the other music that wasn't on the release from 2 years ago) Halloween II (1981) - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth (C + C release faithful to the film version's mix) Heat - Elliot Goldenthal The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings cartoons - Maury Laws Indiana Jones - complete and newly re-mastered set - John Williams Labyrinth - Trevor Jones Miami Vice - any more music from the series is welcome Pee-wee's Big Adventure - Danny Elfman Quincy M.E. - various composers (mostly Bruce Broughton, Stu Phillips, Dick DeBenedictis and William Broughton) The REAL Ghostbusters box release - Shuky Levy Robin Hood (1973) - George Bruns SW OT and PT box set - newly re-mastered and now complete - John Williams Swiss Family Robinson (1960) - William Alwyn Twins - Randy Edelman

I agree I want a full box set of the original Columbo run scores. For the new series which began in the late 80s, I think a 4CD set of the best scores would be enough. Yavar

Not many true grails left in my case. I'd much rather have first time releases than expanded albums (although I'd most likely buy many of them, the Bond scores in particular). Of late, the releases I've been most the most excited about are classic television scores, and in that respect LaLaLand has really delivered. The recent batch from Quartet also had some awesome surprises, Frenzy being chief among them. Here a few titles that I would consider "grails": Kolchak: The Night Stalker (TV scores by Gil Mellé, Fielding.. etc). There is something really wonderful in the way Mellé pivots from the whistling theme (nicely mirroring the genial Kolchak) to the absolutely badass Night Stalker theme. Columbo - mostly the seventies score, nearly all of them being highly individual works, often very striking. Some from the revival series, mostly "Murder, Smoke and Shadows" by Patrick Williams. A second volume of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, even if I'm truly grateful for the beautiful set produced by LaLaLand. Any unreleased Amicus Doug Gamley scores - that's all of them - especially The Land that Time Forgot Moon Zero Two by Don Ellis Unreleased Ron Goodwin scores (One of Our Dinosaurs... etc) Some of the Matt Helm scores, among them The Wrecking Crew and Murderer's Row More TV music, but I'd have to make a list.

Tell the widow of Maurice Jarre. She holds the rights to that beautiful score. The Publishing is owned by USI A MUSIC PUBLISHING (Universal's Publishing company) and the master recordings I strongly suspect are owned by the studio as well. Ford A. Thaxton
