ROOSTER COGBURN by Laurence Rosenthal was also released by Varese Sarabande (from that list above). To p!ss poor sales also, as it was going for a song a few months later. No wonder, if people list their so called "holy grails" and don't even bother to show up when they are released. The term has here succumb to such an inflationary use, it means no more than "might be a title I might have a passing interest in if someone send samples to me. For free".

I feel like I have most of what I always wanted. There are a few things I still hope for. I still hope that some day the complete original recordings of such scores as RAISE THE TITANIC, THE LAST VALLEY, SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON, DEADFALL, ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND show up. Although we at least have either albums or re-recordings of those for now. It'd be nice if one day the original master recordings of MIDNIGHT COWBOY and MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS show up, so we can get those it top notch, stereo quality. But, we do at least have the mono versions of those. Of course, there are the remaining unexpected John Barry 007 scores. Basically, and perhaps predictably, given this is the board's John Barry nut speaking, whatever remains unreleased or unexpanded from John Barry's catalogue. Perhaps my number one want, though, after the 007 scores, is the complete DEADFALL. And of course SINFUL DAVY, although I think that one is truly beyond all hope. Cheers

And, to go beyond Barry for a moment, the complete FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE. Please, please, please may that come out. Cheers
