The Hobbit scores are not at the same level as LOTR, nonetheless, they are still wonderful...

" If karate used defend honor, defend life, karate mean something. If karate used defend plastic metal trophy, karate no mean nothing." The Karate Kid Part III (Original Motion Picture Score) - Bill Conti This third installment was released in theaters thirty years ago today. "I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams." Spider-Man 2 (Original Motion Picture Score) - Danny Elfman This sequel was released in theaters 15 years ago today. Elfman's tremendous, but also menacing Doc Ock theme is still one of the best villain themes in a superhero/comic book movie, imo. Just such a shame Elfman's score was butchered in the movie.
