But you can read, can't you ? As a matter of fact I can. I can write too, but I tend not to be rude to other people just because they might have made a mistake. Call it a flaw in a sea of Internet perfection.

I was super surprised to hear the alternate gun barrel. I think that might be my favorite addition to this new score. I'm glad they went with the version they did in the film but the alternate is quite nice to have--the little piano flourishes are classy stuff.

You'll have to excuse AdoKrycha007, he's not used to communicate with people and his vocabulary usually only exists of "No CD = No Sale" or "No More RC Shit composers". So best to reply in a manner that his limited intelligence understands: No more shitposts by AdoKrycha007

You're right, the White Knight (original version) has a slightly different gun barrel music with the James Bond theme ending with an upward (forgive me I don't know music theory) last few notes before the gun barrel iris wipes outward. There is also a subtle hint of (I think) a violin or some other string instrument buried deep in the opening chords. Of course after the gun barrel finishes we are presented with a totally different beginning of White Knight. Very nice and a welcome addition to this compilation. Thank you LLL, and Neil. You have once again done immaculate work.

Neil, do you have any documentation above where k.d.lang recorded her vocal? I seem to recall that some local Toronto paper at the time claimed that it was recorded at Metalworks studios in Mississauga, Ontario, just outside of Toronto? If so, it was within walking distance of my former home.

Just received TND this morning, along with Grinch and Mary, Queen of Scots. As the villain in the film (played by Jonathan Pryce) liked to say: "Delicious!" Thanks to all at La-La Land!

According to page 215 of Jon Burlingame's terrific book, The Music of James Bond: "Lang's vocal was originally recorded in Los Angeles, but for complex tax reasons involving the film, had to be re-recorded in Toronto"
