Thanks for the info. I think I bought the others from Intrada so I didn't realize Varese did the BTTF releases.

Awesome. Thanks for posting! I will pick up a copy.

I wonder if they will do the same for Jaws 2? I would love to make it a double-buy!

Now if they will just re-print the Back To the Future trilogy. I still need Part III and I will not pay the outrageous eBay prices.

On Jaws 2 I still have hope that it will be rereleased in the future remastered and with the source music that Williams vetoed on the 2015 release.

Any estimate as to when these might actually ship from Intrada?

What was wrong with the mastering on the 2015 release?

Excess hiss on some tracks (compared to the album), some pointed out more prominent on the left channel and I also believe the center channel is slightly lower. Of all Matessino's remasters this is one that I think could be improved.

But the main draw would be if they could convince Williams to allow the source music to be included. I believe nowadays he may be more flexible on that.

Interesting, thanks. It would be nice to have the source music for the sake of completion. For that matter, wasn't there additional source music from the first Jaws that Williams also vetoed?

One of them in Jaws is the film version of the marching band music.

Jaws 2 has at least two of those Williams 70’s pop tracks (before the water ski attack and at Brody’s house)

The Jaws CD page had said this for a long time, as you can see in the Wayback Machine from a snapshot last year:

https://web.archive.org/web/20230924082017/https://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.9909/.f

(Temporarily out of stock) Sorry but we do not know when this title will be back in stock. It's one of several titles waiting to be re-pressed as time permits.

That's a big difference from the Jaws 2 page, which just says (Sold Out), like most of their out-of-stock CDs. That seems to indicate there aren't any plans to repress Jaws 2.

I used Google to find a few more with that "waiting to be re-pressed" message on them:
BACK TO THE FUTURE
PREDATOR
CONAN THE BARBARIAN (3CD)
PATTON (2 CD)
CHINATOWN (EXPANDED)
RED DAWN (EXPANDED)
MASADA (4CD)
TIME BANDITS
JUMANJI (2CD)
HOOSIERS
THE LAST STARFIGHTER (REISSUE)
THE MUMMY (2CD)
THE MUMMY RETURNS (2CD)
POLTERGEIST II: THE OTHER SIDE (3CD)
*batteries not included (2CD)
HOWARD THE DUCK (3CD)

Wow! The repressing is out of stock already! That didn't take long. Either Intrada pressed a tiny batch or there were many, many people waiting to order it. Hope everyone who wanted a copy managed to get it...

Congrats to Intrada... I guess? Obviously quite a bit of pent-up demand. Here's hoping it can be repressed soon.

Considering what score this is, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Intrada pressed like 2000 and they already all disappeared. (After all we know that Hook and the Bond expansions have been selling almost this fast for LLL recently.) I know so many people have been awaiting this re-pressing for a really long time.

Glad I ordered mine at lunch today! That and the Quartet Cliffhanger they had in stock. I missed both issues of Cliffhanger (Intrad and LLL) and couldn’t let this go. I’ve been waiting for Jaws too.

That message had been there for almost four years, since April 2020 (!). Curious how many copies were pressed this go 'round, which sold out so quickly.

I'm glad i ordered mine when it was original released - soon it is 10 years ago

Gave JAWS 2 blu-ray (from my 4K-release - no 4K-player yet) a spin yesterday

music from ONE BARREL CHASE appears in JAWS 2 with tiny bits before it goes in a completely new way - like they say in the special features there is a lot of adventure music in the Jaws 2 score

I'm glad to feel like this...

... than this...

(granted, the latter is how I feel about Jaws 2)
