This is going to be one of those "What about...?" posts that I hate. But I'll attempt to be unobjectionable. In the original post, with the link to "Variety", the list mentions COLOSSUS, PRISONER OF ZENDA, 2 MULES, 2 AIRPORTs, THE SENTINEL and FLETCH LIVES. COLOSSUS came out and immediately became possibly my favourite score release of this year. PRISONER OF ZENDA came and went without much hullabaloo (which was a bit of a pity), and now we're getting the two AIRPORTs by Cacavas and Schifrin. Great! I was just wondering if there's a "time window" (possibly the wrong expression) to the titles listed as "deffo coming out". I think I'm talking about chronology actually. I was kind of half-expecting the Morricone before the new doubler, simply because of the original listing order. I suppose the logical answer is that they'll all be released in time, but some take longer than others due to unforeseen difficulties etc. Hell, what I'm basically asking is could we expect Gil Mellé's THE SENTINEL as the next "out of order" surprise?

This great collection now has 9 titles announced, covering 10 movies June 2018: Colossus: The Forbin Project by Michel Colombier (La-La Land) Aug 2018: The Prisoner of Zenda by Henry Mancini (La-La Land) Nov 2018: Airport '77 by John Cacavas / The Concorde: Airport '79 by Lalo Schifrin (La-La Land) May 2019: The Sentinel by Gil Melle (La-La Land) June 2019: Fletch Lives by Harold Faltermeyer (La-La Land) Sep 2019: Child's Play 2 by Graeme Revell (La-La Land) Sep 2019: Rooster Cogburn by Laurence Rosenthal (Varese Sarabande) Oct 2019: Bride of Frankenstein by Franz Waxman (La-La Land Records) ??? 2019/2020? Two Mules for Sister Sara by Ennio Morricone (La-La Land Records) I don't think anyone knew that labels beyond La-La Land Records would be involved before the back cover of Rooster Cogburn mentioned the line (Varese's own website / announcement didn't even mention it) About Two Mules For Sister Sara, the latest update I've seena about it is that MV posted in April that it was coming "Summer". The same post slated X-Files Volume 4 and Darkman for the summer also, so they must have hit a bunch of delays. Mike Matessino also posted an update about this line this afternoon as well No TV this year. It takes a lot of time and there was a lot of work to get three Heritage titles finalized and released all within a few weeks of each other.

The link I provided indicates it will be sold at the October 13th Q&A, which is "ahead of the CD's official release date", so I suppose that means it will be in LLL's October 22nd batch, one of their November batches, or a Black Friday title.

MV said on the other post: "Lots of Universal stuff coming out -- expanded editions and never before released titles." So high hopes to see soon (finally) releases of some of these: The Jackal (Carter Burwell) The Flintstones (David Newman) Mystery Men (Warbeck, Walker) Bird on a Wire (Hans Zimmer)

Hope it gets a release someday
