Thanks for that Basic Instinct cover, I have wanted to make one for myself using that key art (that featured on the Japanese laserdisc releases) but could never get it to work.
Have you perhaps considered doing one using the UK/EU laserdisc art variants?
I reworked this cover to take it from a rectangle to square and cleaned up the artwork. I redrew the TEX AVERY banner and used crisp new yellow type below, adding a subtle dropshadow to make it more legible.

Can't dispute that, but freely available key art for the vast majority of Scott titles just isn't up to scratch, as my motley efforts above attest to: that Deceivers cover, for instance, particularly shows the results of a jpeg after one too many downsamplings, and Mayeda was sourced from a beat up LaserDisc cover when the film was alternately titled "Journey of Honor".
