Best score of a Clint Eastwood film is THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY hands down. I'd be torn between this and DIRTY HARRY - a note perfect score from Schifrin. You can have it both ways by redefining GB&U as the Best Clint Eastwood (acting-only) movie made for a soundtrack. Eastwood didn't direct DIRTY HARRY, Don Siegel did.

Well, damn it all to HELL, I may have to buy this damn thing. a) I've always liked the score, and b) I pulled the Varese release and listened to it this evening and the sound is atrociously bad.

Got my corrected replacement #2 disc, all good. I just came here to ask about this. Did you have to request one? Or did they just automatically send it out? If Intrada is handling this the same way they handled the Sleepy Hollow set, you probably have to ask for a replacement disc if you already have your copy of Eiger Sanction. On the other hand, anyone who orders it now should get the replacement disc included. I ordered Eiger Sanction after it initially went out of stock and I asked Intrada to include the Sleepy Hollow replacement disc when they shipped my order for the Eiger Sanction. My order arrived yesterday, and I received The Eiger Sanction and replacement discs for both Sleepy Hollow and Eiger Sanction (which I hadn't asked for, but was happy to receive).
