Apologies if these have already been asked: --Any possibility of a SeaQuest box set containing music by various composers from all three seasons? La La Land Records: No to both MV, have you heard the "SeaQuest" scores (recently)? I just did mini commentaries on the scores in a thread over the passed two or three weeks, and there is some fantastic work there by Don Davis and John Debney. If you like "Star Trek: The Next Generation" scoring, this woudl be right up your alley. Personally I would love a Seaquest release. Professionally its not economically wise. Seaquest is no Star Trek. MV

Hey MV thanks for the great releases. You guys have released some of my holy grails. How many releases are you dropping in March? You'll find out in a few days

Is there any interest from any label in releasing a more complete version of Hans Zimmer's score to Nine Months?[/endquote Zimmer releases are tricky. We hope to work something out some day. MV

My two questions for MV concern the two scores NEVADA SMITH (Newman) and STORY OF A WOMAN (Williams) about which there has been so much pure speculation from fans on this board during the last years, but never ever any significant reply from one of those soundtrack producers really in the know about the facts and who collaborates with the Paramount and Universal studios: - Are there still any original music elements available of the Newman or the Williams score at Paramount respectively at Universal at all or can we give up hope anyway that we will ever get them on CD? - IF the original recordings have been preserved, would LLL be interested in releasing them at all? Or are there still other factors (too costly, double licensing...) preventing such projects? Nevada Smith is happening in some form, but Mr Williams has requested that no release of a Story of. Woman will happen. MV

Regarding DC animated titles, if you can me find 1,000 customers who would be willing to purchase Justice League Unlimited Superman vol 2 and Teen Titans we would be more than happy to release those soundtracks. As for future Batman titles, New Batman Adventures and The Adventures of Batman and Robin are in the works. Batman SubZero is also in the works. Batman Beyond, including Revenge of the Joker, might be coming but we are not 100% convinced there is enough of a market for it. MV

What if something similar was done for those titles that you guys did with the Star Trek box set -- having people sign up for a copy in advance, to figure if there is a market?

Nevada Smith is happening in some form, but Mr Williams has requested that no release of a Story of. Woman will happen. MV Many thanks for that nice reply, MV! So there is at least some hope for a NEVADA SMITH CD in the near future. Fine and good to know. However, it is strange that Mr. Williams is so much in charge of his old Universal scores (in fact the same request as the one for SUGARLAND EXPRESS) whereas much of his earlier stuff from Fox and WB could apparently be released on CD during the last years without him interfering in any way. He really must have some bad memories about STORY OF A WOMAN. Maybe he was very unsatisified with the recording at that time in 1970.

Nevada Smith is happening in some form, Oh, WOW! Alfred Newman fans and western fans rejoice!! but Mr Williams has requested that no release of a Story of. Woman will happen. Oh, darn! So that's in the same boat as Sugarland Express. I join others in wondering at the mystery of JW's control over his Universal scores (he even halted James Fitzpatrick's planned *new* recording of a complete Dracula!) but not over other studios. Story of a Woman and Sugarland Express are much more worthy of release and exposure than some of his 60s comedy efforts which came out without a problem... Yavar

I really hope the Adventures of Batman and Robin set will be complete (all of the music from all 20 episodes). Seconded. Hopefully we'll see it next year, as Batman seems staggered to every other year.

I don't have a question, per se, but do want to thank LLL/MV for your good natured way of fielding so many queries. I came to this thread hoping to learn about more Harold Faltermeyer scores coming down the pike (heck, I bought two copies of each BHC release) and am thrilled to read that Fletch and Top Gun appear to be in the offing. What fine news indeed! Cheers! On second thought, perhaps I do have a question after all: When?!? (Roughly speaking, of course.)
