It doesn't look good: "Fox Picks Up 4 New Drama Series: ‘Prodigal Son’, ‘Deputy’, ‘NeXt’ & Weisman/Katims; What Does It Mean For Network’s Bubble Dramas?"

And the actor who plays Klyden said a week ago in an interview:
"Oh, no doubt about it. I mean, there's nothing official, but we feel sure that that's what's going to happen. But you know, no guarantees. If you guys love it, let 'em know. Social media. Let's do it the way The Expanse did it when they got Amazon to pick it up. You guys, make some noise out there. It's a special show and it should be around. Fingers crossed. We've heard some things, but I can't -- you know how it goes."

I'd love for there to be a surprise ad it does get renewed, but they're filling up their schedule with new shows and ones already renewed.

Anyway, we should find out the fate in mere days when FOX announces it's schedule.

I just hope Joel McNeely gets a full time to shine. He did such an amazing job with Jerry Goldsmith on Air Force One that he deserves more visibility.

Two shows, including "Lethal Weapon" ,have been cancelled, so I guess there's play room now.

I heard Seth's contract with FOX is almost up. The silence maybe because he is negotiating a new contract. Or shopping Orville around for more money. So it could be Seth with the leverage not FOX.

Even if it gets renewed right now, it won't air until next spring (or fall 2020) and who knows how many of those "new" shows will last that long... therefore no suprise it is not on fall 2019 schedule.

My biggest concern is that the renewal took so long because they were negotiating budget cuts, which of course would affect the music first.

I’m definitely hoping that Season 2 gets a soundtrack release. Season 1’s release is fantastic.

A release date has been added to the season three premiere, of January, 2020. I don't know where it comes from, but it popped up quickly after IMDb took my submission for the episode.

And executive producer David Goodman I saying that while Alara wont' be back as a regular, we'll be getting guest appearances the new season.

ABOUT A GIRL (1LAB04)
Composed by Joel McNeely
18. Tribunal Adjourned / Epilogue 3:27

There's a passage in this track somewhat similar to McCarthy's famous score for DS9's "The Visitor". Nice gesture by McNeely.

Ironically the best music in season two was the goodbye of Alara.

Why is that ironic?

Just that the best music for the series was associated with her leaving the show.
