Otherwise, the releases are musically the same (with the addition of JW's Solo theme)?
It does look like it. Though the CD's "total score time" doesn't actually seem to include Adventures of Han as it's the same as said release.
That's probably because its a late addition. They probably didn't check the final number or forgot to update. Thankfully the actual time of CD 1 on the artwork is already correctly updated as 1:03:37
I see that they’re going the Hans Zimmer approach. That approach is to keep putting out new digital releases with a track or two and charging for them as new releases. See Interstellar. I noticed there are two versions of the deluxe version of Solo. One has 35 tracks which I purchased. One now has 36 tracks which I have not purchased. Amazing.
That newer release is the result of the Intrada CD! They asked to add the Williams track from the OST to Powell’s previous expansion and got permission. The digital release was update to match Intrada’s.
If you have the OST and the expansion from a few years ago, you have everything! The only reason to buy this expansion is if you want the whole thing on CD.
Was Disc 1's track 20 Sabacc Game** (2:35) not on the digital release? I don't see it in mine. Otherwise, the releases are musically the same (with the addition of JW's Solo theme)?
I see it on the digital release. Maybe you skipped that track some how.
Oh, rats. I don't have that track for some reason.
Same here! I really liked the Solo score, so I was happy to upgrade from my iTunes purchase to a CD. If the next on the list is Rogue One…probably not. Still haven’t listened to my digital copy of that expansion, haha.

Yeah we discussed that a few weeks ago. I’m more than happy to triple dip on the expanded CD, but I’m not going to purchase the digital again for one cue.
There would be no need to rebuy the whole album. You can just buy the single copy or rip the track from the OST to your digital album and take twenty seconds to re-tag it so it plays in the correct sequence.
I think this is such a wonderful, major release for Intrada and should increase awareness of them as a specialty soundtrack label, thanks to all the cross over to general Star Wars fans. I expect this to sell quickly!
