I am curious if the "Drill Team" cue is the film version or the original album version. It does not specify. I want to believe it is the film version as it is drastically different in composition. It is more "sneaky around suspense" in form and does not have the main action melody flowing through it and continuously building in layers like the album version does (which I might assume was the original version).

I am certain that they did not know this when making the album.

One of the big 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonderful news - didn't expect another Goldsmith. Fantastic stuff. The Remora approach on the 747 is sublime. Great opening too with the assault on the Trieste Mansion. Thank you Varese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope for your credibility that they are gonna release Air Force One as last, cause if you're ever gonna refer to U.S. Marshals as the big one, it'll be hard to ever take you serious again

Yes, yes, YES, YES!! Thank you Lord, thank you Varese Sarabande!! This was on the top 3 of my most wanted Goldsmith scores for expansion. Just listen to that sample of track 10 -- absolutely amazing! And as I was called another one of those Goldsmith-fanatics who never get enough, so I join the crowd and say: bring on U.S. Marshals and Air Force One in Deluxe treatment as well.

"Executive Decision" is not one of Goldsmith's many masterworks, but it is wonderful to have this fine expanded score back in circulation!! I hope Varese gives all of Goldsmith's 90's tiny 30 min. efforts the same sort of treatment. Indeed. Goldsmith has had finer hours, but I'm glad to see it expanded for those who enjoy the score. Nice work.
