This release is so ridiculously well timed. I love it.
And if 70's Wonder Woman can happen... then I'll still keep hope alive for Nicholas Hammond 70s Spidey.

The music - 'seventies styled though it is - isn't as bland and formulaic as that provided for the current film, that's for sure. I'm sure the Charles Fox theme will remain in people's memories far longer that RGW's effort.

In saying that, some of the music on this set is occasionally a bit nondescript, and goes in through the one ear and out of the other - as I suppose is invitable with a lot of tv music. But there is a lot of quite inventive and catchy stuff too.

I'm particularly enjoying the Angela Morley selections smile

And why would I want to get out from under Lynda Carter? Just doesn't make any sense.

Maybe there were listeners who'd have preferred to be under Lyle Waggoner.

How does La-La Land Records' new Wonder Woman TV soundtrack compare to the sound you heard as a kid? Watch, listen, and then ORDER YOURS HERE: http://www.lalalandrecords.com/Site/WW.html

Holy suds! Well done!

Purchased this at CD Trader in Tarzana. Funny thing was I actually felt a bit embarrassed handing to the checkout dude. Silly me, I mustered a lame "I wasn't going to buy this, but the on-line preview tracks were so damn catchy." Delightful fromage à la '70's!

Anyone got any opinions on the Artie Kane material? I always loved Charles Fox's music, a very distinctive voice throughout his career. I have seen one or two movies scored by Artie Kane, but they never quite made a lasting impression. I know him more as an absolutely fabulous pianist (I'll bet we've all got Artie Kane playing keyboards at least somewhere in our collections), but do you think Artie Kane had a recognisable style as a composer?

Not to flood this thread with repeats from that fun Youtube comparison, but on that scene itself, I always wondered: If WW is so strong, how come that Stella Stevens lasted so long being a mere mortal?

It's crazy how great the sound quality of this set is, and the music itself is a blast. Grand slam.

Does the music tend to be of the busy, action variety or are there any chilled out and easy listening lounge sorts of tracks?

I find it pleasingly varied. There are definitely a couple lounge-y spots, check out Airport Cab for example.

How about more gentle, pastoral stuff? For example I LOVE the sample cue called Invisible Screen/ Personal Nurse. Is there more of that sort of vibe?

Is this in any danger of selling out any time soon? Any chance that it will eventually go on sale / be discounted? I'd love to have it, but my budget is a bit strained. I'll gladly wait if I can save money, but I also don't want to miss out.

Picked this up a while back. Some neat music here. Johnny Harris was one of the best things to happen to the show. His punchy, season 3 arrangement of the main theme is delightful.

Agreed! His Buck Rogers work is also great.

I don't have the CD set, but just from watching the show, the S3 main title is my favorite WW cue. It reminds me of what John Williams did for Lost in Space S3 and Land of the Giants S2. His main title upgrades injected incredible excitement to those shows.

Interestingly, the intersection between Land of the Giants & Wonder Woman includes 3 composers: Artie Kane, Richard LaSalle & Robert Prince.

Searches within SAE upon all three names currently yield the same results: those La-La Land CD sets.

The IMDB reports a date of death on Johnny Harris of March 20, 2020.

FSM doesn't appear to have a thread on this, so I'm updating here because some members appreciate the music Mr. Harris provided WONDER WOMAN.

R.I.P.
