Justin Burnett also put out a generous 40 minutes of his episode, "The Father Thing" on his website: https://www.justinburnett.com/

I'm a bit confused about this. Didnt Harry Gregson-Williams compose this episode?

According to the CD booklet, Burnett was responsible for "programming", and also co-producer with HGW. Take from that what you will/can.

Aha, hm...impossible to say really, lol! Thanx for the info!

Autofac was an awesome episode!
I wonder if the very last moment (before the end credits) is included in the CDs?
I know Isham uploaded a version called "Coming Home" to his soundcloud (plus one other), but that is more like the end credits. They both sound familiar and has the same voice, but the version before the end credits has some more beautiful instruments in them.

Re: THE FATHER THING

Most of the cues are primarily electronic/soundscapes. So i take it he pretty much did the work on those.
The theme/melody is a variation on the one used as the Main title for the show; hence the HGW credit.

BTW AMAZON has really put out some great stuff ..
HIgh CASTLE
PKD
MAISEL
HOMECOMING...

much better than NETFLIX originals STRANGER THINGS
LIS...HELL HOUSE

Aha! Didnt notice that the last cue is a variation of the Main Theme!
(I always just skip the intro, lol)

Yes, Amazon makes better shows, imo. Specially Man In the High Castle!
I am eagerly waiting for a season 3 soundtrack! This last season was so amazingly scored! big grin

AUTOFAC had some lovely 'old school' Isham music going on.
Dreamy, ethereal with a soothing female vocal. I haven't heard him like that since his early days.
Another score I'm looking forward to on the set.

Yo McGann!!
THAT got my attention...damn I wish someone would release MADE IN HEAVEN & MORTAL THOUGHTS.
I'm being lazy & tagging onto this post, but have you heard, and/or have thoughts on Isham's 'Arkangel' episode of BLACK MIRROR, that, oddly enough, has its own cd release?
If not I'll have to go spend the 40 odd mins and watch this thing...won't that be a tragedy! Ha!

Cheers dude :-)

Can someone remind me what the plot was. Thanks!

"After nearly losing her daughter, a mother invests in a new technology that allows her to keep track of her."

It was directed by Jodie Foster wink

Very good ep!
Hafta watch again to see if the music warrants a soundtrack cd purchase.
Thanks!

I would like to see the individual releases combined and compressed into fewer discs.
I just can't see purchasing the separate Richter and Isham discs. But, if you combine them into a single disc I would putchase it. Surely they both can fit.

Yes, some of the episodes could easily fit into one disc. Maybe even 3 episodes.
But then there are some episodes which have almost an hour of music. I think it would have to be a 5-6 disc collection big grin

I have the Nosedive (Richter) cd, but I think Arkangel (Isham) only was released on vinyl? (I dont do vinyl, lol).
And Hang The DJ had a CD release, but I dont think any other had :/
