That's pretty cool! It doesn't look apocalyptic or dystopian like the previous films and that's already a win.
Now all we need is for Marianelli to deliver a winner, hopefully light on temps - or even better: free from temps and all those RCP motifs we've been fed with for the past decade. Though that's likely too much to ask.
All this discussion and no one's mentioned Marianelli's score for Everest? I don't know much of if Marianelli's CV (I thought The Brave One was pretty good), but Everest shocked me by how impressive it is, I had no idea Marianelli could write like that, and I could see that kind of epic/adventure sound working for Bumblebee.
Acathla, you definitely need to check out Everest! Erm...and so should everyone else who hasn't heard it!
I haven't really been impressed or liked much of Marianelli since JANE EYRE, and that's quite a few years ago now. Alas, in recent years he's sometimes been asked to emulate an RC-type sound, and he doesn't do it very well. I dread that this will be the same thing. Guess I'll be the pessimist in this case, but I'll allow myself to be positively surprised.
It seems that Republic will release song album - just like one for every TF movie... score (if released) will have to be done separately hopefully by one of the more reliable labels.
