Can't wait for this one. HTTYD 2 was even better than the first and is his Magnum opus. And Powell continued quite strong with "Pan", "Ferdinand" and "Solo". High hopes that the movie will provide a fitting conclusion to an overall 3 act story too.
obviously you know exactly how to train your pandas

That final track is not on the physical CD edition
Interesting. I wonder if it's an actual end credits suite, or just something for the album. Either way, I'm such a dweeb I'll happily buy both physical and digital for this.
This thread reminded me I never actually bought the second movie's score. Grabbed a copy of the UK edition off of eBay. That's the one in a jewel case, right?

Beautiful. Just beautiful. I love the music Powell has created for these films.
You don't have to love these movies (or the music) to understand why people adore these scores. Don't many of you wish that there were more of these types of scores, with that grand, epic orchestral sound, in movies today?
I find that suite sort of blah, lacks direction. Maybe it will grow on me. But the short sound samples on iTunes sound awesome. Can't wait! Though I thought it was coming out Jan 11th, didn't notice it was to preorder.
Edit: So I guess the Hidden World Suite is digital only? As the whole score is 1hr 22mins long it won't fit on a single CD.
