Rather annoying the two scores are presented as a pair of almost half-hour suites, but still, early Bernstein is always a treat.

I have the score and enjoy it very much, but I've never seen the film. How is it?

Farewell to Dick Miller. frown Goldsmith's theme for his character is one of the most beautiful, wistful ones he ever penned.

Remember when they were planning on dumping this score? Dark days.

They actually did...only to end up dumping the replacement score by Paul Haslinger and putting Elfman's music back into the movie! eek

I was pretty entertained the whole time. It has an old school charm to it, like a good adventure that's easy to get lost in. And I thought the two stars, Law and Paltrow, played well against each other. Definitely check it out when you can.

Haha! I forgot about those “enhanced” CDs from back in the day.

The CD-ROM material stopped working/registering on all players just a few years after I bought the CD.

Fortunately, all the material is on Youtube now.
