Yeah, that would be a dead giveaway. He does say "something" twice. Must be a clue, hmmm.

I actually think the "some" riff is not a literal clue, just Roger being faux-casual about a release that he knows people have been hoping for.

Well Somewhere in Time is 1980, so it can't be that.

Roger's definition of 'mid-80s' is 84-86.

Some Kind Of Wonderful is 1987, so that's out.

Something Wild is 1986 but I know next to nothing about that film. It's only had a song album release. How much score is in the film?

My mid 80s grail is PSYCHO III (1986), but it seems more likely to be An American Tail or Conan The Destroyer (that we know is coming eventually).

Faux-casual would've been somethang, or sumthink, or sumpting.

RED HEAT would be awesome. But 1988 might not be mid 80s.

Sure wish it was James Newton Howard's wonderful score for SOME GIRLS, but you can't expand something that hasn't been released frown .....also it's from 1988

Roger had mentioned that a James Horner Title had just been sent to the plant in the Apollo 13 cover DEBATE thread a few weeks ago. So it must be AN AMERICAN TAIL.

Otherwise a SUPERGIRL release would have been awesome. And Roger had already a mentioned 'A no go' on that mission in a recent Supergirl thread here.

Geez, if it's An American Tail, right on the coattails of Balto, I'll name my next hamster after him!

If it's An American Tail, I hope that the sequel and The Land Before Time will follow.

... And somewhat of a bittersweet moment because James Ingram died this past week.
