This is a title that should have been done right by LLL, i.e. score on one disc (unbroken), album on the other. Intrada was a step towards fixing that. This is the final step. I've felt compelled to buy it again, but it's frustrating to have to.
Plus my LLL copy is signed so I have to keep hold of it anyway.

Dah...you got me, NFN. Looks like musical content-wise, the only difference between this and the expanded Intrada is an additional 50 seconds on the “Battle At the Gym” track. But new cover art, and for an already classic score...here’s my money. Ordered!
Is there any real sound difference between this, the Intrada or the LLL edition? I have the LLL and short of the main programme being split across discs is there any difference in the contents?

Whereas I think this is a step backaward. The Intrada release is one of the happiest I've ever been seeing the rerelease of a score, not because it fixed the breakup of the score over discs but because it lacked the very redundant album.

Are the film tracks and OST tracks identical? I have the expansion but honestly prefer the OST program.
This has been released so many times and it is STILL MISSING the music Kevin plays on the keyboards to Julie!
If that music was out there I promise you we would have added it. Like with Rain Man or any other release I am working on, I do look around for bonus material for expansion.

Luckily, this album isn't any more expensive despite the second disc, so it's the best of both worlds for me. I have zero copies of this score.
Put my order in! I'm glad it hung around for a little bit.

The OST is a great program. It's the same performance (though, as per Roger's comment below, from a different source) but cues are combined in quite an effective way.

Not exactly. The two programs are from different sources. The digital elements from the Varese album presentation sound a bit better than the complete program.

Actually, the Intrada "Battle At The Gym" track does indeed run 6:24 (or 6:26, per the Intrada website). The length of 5:24 printed on the back cover is just a typo.
I am playing the last release of this one right now. This is a fabulous score and anyone who missed out before should run, not walk, to your PC and f'n BUY THIS!
