Holy Smoke, ROBOCOP 2! I sure wished for that one to be expanded (but gave up on it years ago. ) For me, the No. 1 pick here.
But with RAGGEDY MAN comes another Goldsmith score I can finally get my hands on; I've seen the movie, it's a nice (and rather short) score. Always wanted that one too. And DREAMCATCHER... ok, ok... ordered!. Along with LONESOME DOVE and ABSENCE OF MALICE. Sheesh, and here I still think 2019 may be the last year I buy CDs... but they sure keep 'em coming so far. :-)
Kind of disappointing that Townson's last batch consists of two reissues (yes Dreamcatcher is actually an Encore!) and just one (albeit terrific) expansion.
Still waiting for US Marshals and Air Force One guys!
Robert apparently had only '6 weeks' to prepare for the final batch. Had he had more time at this he would have prepared a Batch 'to end all Cd Club Batches'. But lets hope the other 2 batches will have some good stuff. There is always something for every one.

I've ordered Raggedy Man!
Ditto. Really hoped for ‘The Burbs’, oh well there is always a next time. ‘Raggedy Man’ also ordered.
I don’t think I have ever seen Raggedy Man, but with everyone saying that they were ordering it I went and checked out the samples...it sounds nice...so ordered both that and The Cowboys.
I very much disagree with Rosenman's assessment of Basil's RoboCop score--I definitely like Basil's version better. That said, I love Rosenman's work and am more than happy to have RoboCop 2, especially since I have the complete score for the first movie already. Rosenman was opinionated, but I believe by the time he was talking about how his tunes were better than Williams' he may very well have been in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I think I just read somewhere that patients' memory of music is apparently unaffected by Alzheimer's, and I recall someone talking about Rosenman's final days in a rest home, where he probably had very little idea of who he or anyone else around him was, but he would apparently regale people with terrific piano performances of his and other peoples' music. So that's as happy an ending as I can think of under the circumstances.
"Robocop 2" is a fantastic score (for a bizarre and crazy film!), and the original CD was missing tons of amazing music. Wonderful release. After "Rebel Without a Cause," which IMO is his masterpiece, this is probably my favorite Rosenman.
To quote Emily Litella: "Nevermind" ...I just noticed something on Varese's Facebook page that renders my deleted comments irrelevant.
ROBOCOP 2 is the big winner for me...definitely ordered. I already have RAGGEDY MAN, so more for you guys that missed out...and DREAMCATCHER is one of the few Howard scores I just don't care for (maybe because the movie is so abysmally awful).
I'm sure alot of Raggedy Man sales went to stock other online stores. I ordered Raggedy and Robo direct since I have some spare jewel cases, hopefully that's all that gets broken from Naxos.
I also feel a bit underwhelmed by the new batch. I will only be getting Robo Cop 2. I still got the original release of Raggedy Man way way back when it was VERY expensive and ai really don’t care for Dreamcatcher.... such a bad movie....

Like they always do, still, it's a sign that the sales are going fast.
I'm really happy about the Goldsmith which I did not have. The only minor thing is (yes people here like to complain and I'm one of them, otherwise where's the fun?), why did they choose this rather ugly cover when the original one was so beautiful? It won't prevent me from appreciating the music and being very happy to have this score at last, but nonetheless it's a raher odd choice (unless they were no longer allowed to use the original poster of the film as a cover...)
