Received as a result of listening to the bloody recommendations of you lot... Total Recall Expanded (Goldsmith, Quartet release) An American Tail (Horner, Intrada release)
as a result of listening to Mark Kermode's gushing on the radio Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me (Badalamenti)
as discussed elsewhere, finally from Varèse Raggedy Man (Goldsmith, Varèse release)
The Twilight Zone (Goldsmith) Logan's Run (Goldsmith) Gremlins (Goldsmith) Black Sunday (Williams) Where Eagles Dare (Goodwin)
Plus 2 from Ebay
Stargate Deluxe (Arnold--got lucky on this one, especially considering some of the prices I've seen) Babe (Westlake)
From the library, I managed to locate/borrow:
The Last Jedi (Williams) The Incredibles (Giachinno) Dave (Howard) Film Music Collection of Max Steiner (Silva) The Lion in Winter (Barry/Silva rerecording) Happy Feet (Powell) The Natural (Newman) The Jungle Book (Debney) The Adventures of Huck Finn (Conti) ET (Williams--the original MCA re-recording that I had never heard before--only familiar with the 20th ann. ed.) HP and the Chamber of Secrets (Williams--this one is pretty badly scratched though ) Himalaya (Coulais)
So I discovered far too late that there was a complete recording of Westlake's Babe out there AFTER I had already ordered the old Varese release. Fortunately I was able to snag it pretty cheap and so now I have both recordings--not fond of the annoying Varese release with all the intrusive voiceovers but that bass line on the first track with the mice singing If I Had Words is pretty funky so I think I'll keep it.
Also decided to take advantage of the recent Intrada sale and picked up:
Damnation Alley (Goldsmith) The Mummy Returns (Silvestri) Robin Hood (Kamen)
