Oh I'm sure that this Queen Martin CD will be good and I'll probably even buy it, but pushing back THE SENTINEL until next month, when I've been waiting for it since 1977, is absolutely unforgivable and disgusting and I'm now going to throw all my LaLaLand CDs in the bin or trash can, just as I did with all my Frank Sinatra LPs in about 1994 or something when I already had tickets for his concert in Glasgow but he disgustingly and unforgivably cancelled at the last mo ment because he died. Surely you can wait a bit longer for 'Queen Martin'

Barnaby Jones (Goldsmith, Broughton); Dan August (Grusin); Most Wanted (Schifrin); Cannon (Parker); The Manhunter (Tatro); Caribe (Riddle); Bert D'Angelo/Superstar (Williams); Tales of the Unexpected (Shire). That's a fairly potent lineup so I'll be getting this. One or two are probably less familiar (while 'Most Wanted' was screened by the BBC, I'm not sure whether 'The Manhunter', 'Caribe', 'Bert D'Angelo' or the QM 'Tales of the Unexpected' were, and I assume some were short-lived anyway) Bit surprised that there's no 'Streets of San Francisco', but this is an excellent spectrum of the familiar and not so familiar, and I hope it does well enough for a follow up or two.

Ah, thanks for the update. I do actually remember Twist in the Tale vaguely but not the others.

The only complaints I could make, if they are even accurate, are if the BJ, "Cannon" episode and pilot, are not complete. ASCAP and/or BMI lists bumeprs by Goldsmith, and I don't see them listed (maybe I missed them), but that could if a very minor complaint. Other than that, I can't say there is a complaint, considering the content and that it's a Volume 1. This is fantastic. Quinntastic!

That track list is awesome. If I may be allowed one slight disappointment, it is that David Shire is represented by only a main and end title, while I was looking forward to getting at least one full score by him. Maybe on a future volume but the main and end title's inclusion here would seem to indicate otherwise (and future volumes will presumably have different themes besides cops and mystery shows). Yavar

There is a 4-second Barnaby Jones bumper by Goldsmith mentioned Justin -- track 7! Are you saying you think Goldsmith wrote more bumpers that are unreleased? Yavar

I swore I saw two entries on one of the sites, but going back for a quick search, I only see one on BMI. Anyway, right or wrong, it's an extremely minor quibble!

I’m very happy with it! (Not that anyone really cares though.) I care. And it looks great to me too. (Even with no Fugitive, Invaders or Streets of San Francisco). Is it noon PST yet?
