It should just automatically take it off when you proceed to checkout. Yeah. I was confused also by that!

Anyone having problems with the La La Land web site automatically applying the 15 % discount? Doesn't want to apply it to my order. Thanks, Stan Sorry about that. There was a glitch earlier and 27 orders didn't get the discount. They will be refunded. In the meantime it's all working again MV

He, he. You tell 'em, Timothy. Like we're all supposed to know about US holidays. The heading says "Labor Day Sale." The first post says "LABOR DAY FLASH SALE!" That alone should tell you it's a holiday of some sort. Don't know what it is? A 15 second search brings you here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labor_Day The interwebs is your friend and makes this planet a lot smaller than it used to be. Seriously, not being from the US doesn't mean you have to be ignorant of our holidays when it is blatantly stated and make them the reason you're saving 15% (pre shipping). And if you don't care, fair enough, but don't wonder why there's no response when - again - the sale is tied into an apparent holiday. Shit, you're lucky they don't just apply them to orders shipped to North America.

I have a different problem with the La-La Land ordering system. I have a gift certificate that exceeds the price of my order. When I apply the certificate, the balance due on the order is zero. But apparently PayPal won't process an order with a zero balance being owed, so PayPal won't even open up. And the ordering system won't let me apply something less than the full value of the gift certificate to the order. I can't just leave a $1.00 balance owed so that the order can go through. Result--no order can be placed.

We don't celebrate it, we have no reason to know when it is, just as I'm sure you don't care about the early spring bank holiday. What the holiday represents is in no way applicable to the situation.

I wish that sale had been a little longer. Was so broke until Tuesday. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for that Intrada sale, which is allowing me to buy so many CDs I'd wanted at great prices.

Only the lower classes buy stuff on sale. So declasse!

I used to buy everything right away at full price when I was making sweet screenwriter money. 27 years later, um, not so much.

So, FSM doesn't pay as.much as Hollywood? I think the most accurate way to describe my contribution to the FSM website since the print magazine folded in (I believe) 2005 is "time-consuming hobby."

When there were still CDs on the FSM label I would receive comp copies. And the iMac I'm typing this post on was a very generous and unexpected gift from Mr. Kendall. But otherwise, late 2005 to the present, your math is correct.

But otherwise, late 2005 to the present, your math is correct. Yeah. I received tons of CDs for my contributions. Better than cash any day! Btw didn't they continue to produce CDs after print ended. I remember getting them for my online articles.?
