Tomorrow Never Dies Complete Top Gun Complete Scarface Complete
My 3 biggest holy grails ever.
MV ruled out Bond this year. As the above poster says, Top Gun is on indefinite hold. I would bet money on a Harry Potter set, and either X-Files 4 or Voyager 2.
STARGATE : 25TH ANNIVERSARY 2CD set ... of course !
Another speculation from me, I wrote 8 months ago in another thread : As long as MV does not officially announce that LA-LA LAND RECORDS has abandoned all plans regarding THE TOWERING INFERNO, we can assume that LLL will continue to work on it. Two personalities who have impressed and influenced me as a child are Mr.Spock and Sherlock Holmes. Let's speculate a bit! We can analyze and interpret some information with a little bit of logic. Ready ? We know from the past that LLL makes a penchant for anniversary releases. See SUPERMAN - 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION or THE THIN RED LINE - 20TH ANNIVERSARY and a lot of others (including the legendary SPACEBALLS: THE 19TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION). Now let's have a look at the movie itself. He had his premiere in December 1974! Conclusion: THE TOWERING INFERNO : 45TH ANNIVERSARY 2CD set is a perfect candidate for this year's LLL Black Friday CD batch!
And a personal revitalized dream after the LAND OF THE GIANTS CD set last year …
And if I did happen to guess right, it would probably be too expensive for me to buy and I would place it on my wait list along with Harry Potter box set.
I'm going to take a stab at this and go with Twilight Zone box set. We are still in the 60th Anniversary year.
I would love this, but I don't think it's likely. If you listen to the end of our conversation with Jeff Bond on "The Invaders" podcast, he says he doesn't know of any film music specialty labels looking into it yet (which surprised him). I very much doubt he would be in the dark about such a project, and I very much doubt it's a project that would take less than several months to put together...
