Total Recall: the last minute or so of "The Dream" on the original album is different from the film version, which was eventually released by Quartet on CD
That was the only cue that they used from the Munich orchestra sessions if irc. Everything else used in the film was played by the NPO...which blows my mind because the quality and similarity between the sounds of the two studios is almost indistinguishable. Probably a lot of post-production work done on that track to even things out.
The transition to the main theme is totally different.
And X-Men: The Last Stand. The version in the film is far superior to the completely different arrangement on the album. Hell, it’s an entirely different cue.
Unfortunately, the film version has never been properly released.

"The Aftermath" was also used from the Munich sessions. But it agree, those segments must have been finessed to a great degree in order to seamlessly fit with the NPO's performance
