Not really, no. I have the original CD from way back in the 90s, and that's all I need. But if it's getting hard to come by these days, by all means -- repress it for those who didn't get it then. How is the sound quality on the original release, out of curiosity?

I actually prefer the sound quality of the original CD compared to the Intrada expansion. I don't know what it is, but the expansion sounds a bit dull and flat by comparison. I wonder if any repressing could include a 'boost' in the sound, similar to some tweaks they made with the re-pressing of Donaggio's Dressed To Kill?

Wouldn't it be cool to discover that the reason this took so long to repress, was because they remastered it to reflect the original album sound? If they elected to change anything, this would likely have to go back to Disney for the review process to begin again as if a new entry, which can take years. Intrada has long defended their stance on not tinkering with the elements and leaving them as they were originally mastered. I believe this was the rare case where Roger listened to the criticism with an open mind. Either way, it's a win win when they repress it.

I hate pouring ANY negatives the way of Intrada, cos their track record is amazing. They've delivered such joy to this soundtrack loving household over the years that it pains me when there's ever been any issues (and the only two I can really think of IS the original Dressed To Kill expansion and The Rocketeer). Whatever happens, it's all good (although yes, a boosted sound Rocketeer would be cool)

Well, sol, there is precedent in re-delivering a boosted/amended edition. Dressed To Kill was a similar situation, where they added some reverb (a Donaggio trait) to their second edition. If you wanted the more wet/lush sound version, you had to re-buy it again (the original edition was VERY dry). I'd love a single disc edition with just the expanded score, and enhanced sound.
