Fantastic that all 10,000 copies sold, sad that there may be those who will miss out.

9 units? Not much of a warning.

Yep I was mistaken saying that this only had 5000 made. 10,000 copies sold out and I am not shocked that it was sold out but what shocks me more is John Williams Superman has only 5000. I thought this would of been in the 10,000 category.

Ive been going back to ST:TMP all week. I can't help but be amazed how crisp and alive the recording mix is. It's like 3D sounds if there ever was such a thing.

This wasn’t their first warning...

This is correct. I purchased the set when it reached either 300 or 100 units. LLL gave plenty of warning if one follows these pages.

Exactly.

If you're critical that MV didn't warn us before they reached 9 units remaining from a run of 10,000 on an album released in 2012 (that would be eight years ago by the way).......I...don't really know what to tell you.

I'm just glad MV started this thread. Hopefully, going forward, he'll use it to keep us updated on low quantities and/or final production runs so we can budget accordingly...or just impulsively buy razz

Apologies in advance if I sound rude, but is this a legit store? Safe to order from?

Because I see a few items I'd want! Never heard of this place before.

Amazing store based in Roswell. Ordered from them a few times. They also have a great Facebook group too which helped me score some awesome stuff like Giacchino’s Tomorrowland. I am in Canada but in the USA they offer $1 shipping which is nuts!

Yeah, it was stuff like having long-OOP stuff as "Buy Now" for the original retail price and $1 shipping that gave me pause. Y'know, like it was too good to be true.

UPDATED - Yeah I knew it was too good to be true. Apparently, you have to click "Buy Now" in order for the site to tell you something is "Out of Stock". That's a crappy way to do it. frown

Showing as order-able to me just now- albeit at $39.99, which I think is the $5 premium recent, out-of-print titles seem to get.

MovieMusic is an excellent resource in general though. Peter is on the ball too, in case you have an inquiry. You shouldn't need to wait long for a response.

Oh, no no...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to give the impression I was talking about STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. I was referring to the two sets that I saw on there that I wanted to get and thought they were in stock:

Deep Space Nine Collection 1 and Danny Elfman Batman Collection

Those are the ones that said "Buy Now" but then said "Out of Stock".

Sorry for the confusion. I could've definitely phrased it better.

But I'm glad to hear it's a reputable site. I'll definitely keep it bookmarked as a resource!

I second that. I have placed several orders with moviemusicstore and had no issues.

I'm sorry if this sounds utterly obtuse and/or ignorant, but I'd like someone to explain what's going on at La La Land.

I submitted an order earlier this afternoon - my first ever at La-La Land - for just over $200.

I was obliged to pay by Paypal, which I have never used before. (SAE, where I do all of my soundtrack purchases in the USA, does not require it.)

I carefully entered all my details and the order seemed to go through without a problem. I was promptly given an order number.

When I logged onto my new account at the La-La Land website, there was - and is still - no trace of any order being submitted. Furthermore, I have received no email to confirm the order.

The long and the short of it is that I have no idea what is going on. Could some explain...

Incidentally, there appears to be no phone number or email address to La-La-Land on their website. How does one contact them??

I dunno about your account, but you should get a purchase email soon, and you can reply to that email.
If you look at the bottom of their website, there's a CONTACT option to send a message. The SHIPPING option shows their phone number and email address (from where your purchase confirmation comes).

Thanks!

I'm simply surprised that there is no sign of my order on their website. Perhaps I'm just spoilt by the efficiency and meticulousness of SAE.
